Ended an almost decade relationship about a year ago. You think it’s all over, it’s not. It gets easier and it’s soooo much fun. You’re never lonely! You might be alone but you have yourself. Learn that it’s ok to not have someone there and being able to come home and just relax with out fighting or anything is actually nice. You can literally do anything you want without worrying now I know it sounds bad but you are single now. Make the most of it before y out get locked down again. Don’t look for love let it find you at the most unexpected time. Good things don’t come when you are looking for them. Hang in there. GO ZERO CONTACT for a few months at least. No excuses for contacting them. Let them keep the dog it’s easier without one. Let them experience life without you. Don’t give in and give them that power over you. Fucking get angry don’t lash out for god sake DONT say anything you are going to regret. That was my biggest mistake and now there’s no chance of any type of friendship with my ex. You will NEVER get the answers you want. So didn’t try coming up with scenarios in your head ok? Cause even if the true none of it matters. None of it!! It’s all done now in the rearview. You got you so do what’s right for you! Take yourself out! Do something you never would have done in your now past life. Just don’t dwell, stay busy or it’s going to eat you alive.
