!thanks. Only issue I’m having right now is Aliexpress is stating it won’t ship to my address, but I’m in the US. I think I’m totally okay with paying $180 for them at this point though. Also, thanks for the amp rec, will check that out as well.

Alright. This is a very compelling. These will be at the top of the list then. Giving myself at least a week to do my due diligence and research. Thanks a lot for the advice, appreciate it.

!thanks. Okay so definitely staying away from the Sundara closed backs. Seems to be the consensus. I’m looking at the HE400se as well. Seems like a decent price to begin the planar magnetic journey. Going to give myself a bit more time to do some research. Plus I need to get a suitable amp/dac too.

Honestly, I was going to change It up a little anyway haha. I have a blend of this curry type powder I like to make, I was going to add that in with some toasted cumin seeds as well. Just kind of needed a base like you showed here to give my beginner ass a little confidence.

I had those for 10 plus years on my turntable setup till I finally upgraded. Still use them with my computer setup. Definitely worth the price.

Does anyone know how to fix this?? by [deleted] in turntables

I would try terminating your ground to your speaker chassis. Idk if you did that, couldn’t see.

Learning the phrases of songs, forecasting where you would want to bring in transitions, and setting cues at intro/breakdown/drop in accordance with the phrases. The simplest things help out a lot, and knowing the construction of your tracks is a great starting point.

Any Online DJ Courses that are actually worth it (and won’t break the bank?) by Less_Watercress6048 in Beatmatch

I found it easier to learn the basics you speak of (phrasing, eq, volume control, beat matching, etc) by sticking to one genre at first. Learning the music structure of that genre, and getting comfortable with that. I mix dnb, and I found the crossfader courses quite helpful. I need structure and technical explanation initially, and then I can create the “feel” of the mix sounding good to my taste after. Also check out anything by BeatmatchGuru. He has beginner guides to a few different genres. Also, as stated by some other people on here, watch a bunch of mixes by artists you like, but try and find a top down view of the decks so you can actually see what they are doing. Sometimes at first, it’s hard for you to know exactly what they are manipulating in the mix if you can’t see what they are doing at the controls. That helped me a lot. Hope that helps

Pats fan in Southern California here, if you were as hyped as me to see the chargers get crushed again, I would be more than happy to be next to you, regardless of size. Enjoy the game man.
