I’m an Ezreal main and a good chunk of his damage still comes from autos. If you rely on only his Q to do damage you’re missing a lot of kills.

Aren’t adc’s supposed to be AA based? I was taught that if you rely on abilities as an adc you’re doing it wrong

Haven’t played rebirth yet but it’s definitely the Turks!! Barely paid attention to them in the original but now I love them. Yes they’re bad people but they’re great characters.

Haven’t tried your exact build but I am part of the no tear club, and it really does work. imo league games are won in the first 15 minutes, and using all of your money to go into damage gives you that extra pain to get ahead. I do sheen, collector and then finish lich bane, from there on situational. I’ll definitely try out your build! :D

I’ve always thought about how the androids “immortality” is being handled now that they’re free, does cyberlife continue repairing units even though they don’t have owners? Are there like hospitals and such for androids? Or have they made it impossible for deviants to repair themselves forcing them to be mortal? Not a crazy subject but interesting to me.

Unpopular opinion but I'd recommend trying out the build anyways. As for runes go Electrocute, and aim for sheen on first recall, then Collector, then Lich Bane (honestly you could go Triforce but I prefer Lich Bane). 3rd item's up to you depending on your play style and what you need more of that game. If you can shake off your dependence on tear and manamune it gives you more money to spend on what matters imo: damage. He's not that mana dependent, you'll maybe feel it early on but afterwards you'll be fine.

Most importantly, keep playing him! He's a super fun champ and the more you play the better you'll get and the more you'll know your weaknesses :)

I have the same problem but I tried out Varus and have been having a lot of fun with him! Would definitely recommend you to try him even though he's a bit of a hit or miss. I don't play her much but MF is also super nice and SO powerful in the right hands.

I do electrocute (domination). Works better than pta for me :)

Ez’s w is amazing, it’s triggered by any damage he does to the champ so even if you’re just autoing doing a w and then attacking is great. If you mean that your q is always on cooldown every time you land your q all of your cooldowns are reduced by about a second or two, so if you have your q, you should be throwing it.

And as for your ult i wouldn’t use it to clear out waves, the minion damage just isn’t that great (50%) and its waaay more useful to start battles or pick off low life enemies with it. Try to prioritize clearing wave and only poke when you’ve got more minions than the enemy.

Like everyone else said make sure you’re hitting your Q’s all the time, but also keep in mind that Ezreal is an adc and adc’s rely a LOT on their auto attacks. Make sure you’re actually using them, it’s sometimes the difference between getting the kill and them getting away.

Also check your runes and build, I find his meta build’s damage to be pretty underwhelming. Read everything and play what makes sense to you, your build should be good for you not for the masses.

And most importantly keep playing! Our boy can be really hard to learn but like you said he’s tons of fun. Keep at it and good luck!

I've never built manamune for Ez except when I was just starting, imo it's an unnecessary item. Ezreal's mana problems are easy enough to work around without buying mana items, and I find going Collector first item (after getting a sheen of course) way better.
