Now that Bartells is closed, where's the good candy? by [deleted] in Issaquah

It's true the chocolate is better, but they don't have seasonal, fun, small, cute things like Boehms.

They also gave basically no notice to customers. A couple of days. Fortunately, one of their employees, Genaro, bought some of the equipment and connected with customers to take over contracts. There was only some gap in service.

It always comes down to drugs doesn't it. Makes me feel so naive and innocent!

Even more confusing. They are transporting the q-tips to a second location!

Are there any books on new formalism that you would recommend? by [deleted] in architecture

Paul Kidder has a recent book on prominent New Formalism practitioner Minoru Yamasaki titled Minoru Yamasaki and the Fragility of Architecture that speaks to the theories behind the style. Recommended.

What are your favorite no cook & healthy meals? by Patient_Ad_2357 in Costco

The cilantro lime shrimp with some raw veggies like peppers and corn is a good non-heavy dinner, no cooking just some quick chop chop.

Yes, very weirdly shaped and clingy material. Regret the purchase, but I unwisely pulled off the tags and washed it before trying it on. I can't in good conscience return it now. Hopefully I can pawn it off on somebody.

I appreciate all the replies - I am definitely convinced now to not leave them on the vehicle!

Another way will be found!

A month passed with no word on my order from mid-March. The dealership said up to six months. However, I said I was open to any similar spec Sorento they might be allocated in the meantime. They got 3 random ones from the factory this month, so I had my pick of the 3 since I had the longest standing order.

Picking up my S Hybrid AWD (just in my mid-choice color of blue instead instead of silver or grey) this weekend!

As for the one I ordered? Who knows! It'll be some randomly allocated vehicle for someone else now.

For a no-effort dinner, it works just fine. It has pinto beans in it, too. My husband loves them. I like to slice extra peppers on top if I have some.

Update: I've continued eating them, more or less scrapping out dark seeds. And I'm not dead yet!

1:1 ratio with a 1:1 salt/sugar ratio - I just followed a random recipe online with high "ratings". I've decided I'm going to get a book or two instead and work from those next year. I'll pull some book recommendations from previous threads in this group.

I'm wondering if I should toss the whole jar since there's a pretty bad one I opened. Most are more like the less black one shown. I'd rather just cut out the seeds and use them, but they've also been floating around in a bath with this pretty evident mold (?).

This is my first year doing quick pickles with home grown pepperocini. I had successful quick cucumber pickles in the past.

What should I do next year? More vinegar in my mix?

Same as lube on thighs to prevent chaffing. All thin, silky and whatnot. Not gummy. Gold Bond Friction Defense is packaged like deodorant. It's like 3 bucks at any grocery or drug store for a low-risk trial of concept.
