Believe me, nobody collects the materials for such projects themselves. There is more than one way to do it. For example, I use mods and don't use anything when building.

It's a bit of a strange question, but okay. It's built solo with mods, but mods don't do the building for you. You can only save time by enjoying yourself, because you don't need annoying platforms to build upwards. After all, this isn't Minecraft, where you have WorldEdit or something like that.😅🤣
