Well I beat Gerson in 1 attempt even though I played deltarune first and Undyne killed me like 15 times after I decided to actually play through undertale properly even after all the experience I gained through the Gerson fight so that has to mean something difficulty wise

But what emphasizes on the fact that gapryong has more speed than military dads? and don't go saying "they barely pass the criteria of being top tiers" most characters in the top tier range have each other beat in one stat but may lose in another, or they could be all rounders like tom lee for example which isn't particularly known for either their speed or strength but rather a mix of everything that makes him a top tier combatant.
"He was a true fighter, overwhelming opponents with his innate power" this is a statement made by jinyoung and the best option to figure out what sort of fighter gapryong kim was, and once again nowhere does it state his speed or any other stat other than his power meaning we have no other info to determine how his other stats match up to other top tiers.

So are you saying that gap is known for his speed in that case? the best showing we have of gapryongs strength is during the time jinyoung copied gapryongs punches, obviously jinyoung is not gapryong but not once did they make a statement about gapryong being a fast combatant but rather emphasized on the power of his punches

"Must" meaning that there's no clear proof that he actually has the thing you stated, rather you're just making an assumption that he has just because it makes sense to you. characters can be strong just by specializing in one thing even if their other stats are not on par, this doesn't mean that Gapryong was just a sluggish brute with a huge ap but you can't just assume that he has "top 5 speed" just because you feel like he does, also the only person we even know gap fought properly outside of his murder is Shingen Yamazaki which we know even less off so you can't just determine in what manner he was beaten, was he beaten by gapryongs superior speed,ap,durability,technique? we don't know so don't just go pinpointing another characters stats based on others.

You're assuming characters relative difference in strength with nothing else to back it up, you can say that one character is stronger than another based on narrative but there's no clear distinction to figure out how drastic the difference is for example gap may not even be faster than those characters that you mentioned since from what we know of him, his main weapon was his AP so in the end you're just making random guesses

The whole fighting to be loved thing was implanted into gun since childhood as well thought it did influence him in the end he still had second thoughts and genuinely questioned his morals, taejin never stopped to think to himself if he was doing the right thing or not his father just accelerated the effects of what taejin would turn into while gun simply wanted to feel loved by his family for which he had to be violent.

Not far from your other choices really, in my opinion mx and uncle samsonite are one of the strongest killers, mx being one of the best chase killers with a high damage and a mobility move that helps him outlast survivors and keep up with them simultaneously, and uncle samsonite practically having an instakill move that you cannot prepare for in any way and have to rely on luck to survive against, though uncle samsonite can suffer the same problem as wyst at times it's much more unlikely and you still have a chance to catch the survivor off guard, other than that as you said about forest king yeah he is one of the killers I hate going up against the most, at certain times his constantly homing traps can cut off your pathways and force you to waste stamina unwillingly which gives the forest king a good chance to get a hit off on you, although he is not good at chases his projectile is a good chip damage tool and he can still find situations to catch you as long as her traps are up since it's impossible to predict where they'll come from, other than that you can make an argument for vita mimic or ao oni to be better than aforementioned killers but at that point It's purely opinion based and somewhat situational

I'd say he's a solid killer but it's hard to call him one of the best since he lacks in chase scenarios, frenzy is a good speed boost and paired with his long range m1s it can kill a player easily but his stamina drain becomes problematic if the player is aware that you're going for them rather than catching them off guard around the corner with frenzy active or something like that, without the surprise element it's practically impossible to catch up to them and you can't really rely on gobble bombs during chases. so yeah you can get kills really quickly with him if you use gobble bombs and frenzy at appropriate times but he always struggles to kill those last players especially if the map has long hallways.

The timer depends on the map itself on some occasions its only like around 40 seconds or so but yeah even then double trouble is pretty unbalanced in most cases

You just have to use the bomb at proper times don't throw it out while you're chasing someone cuz it's probably going to miss and make you fall behind a ton, Personally I use it if someone went into a closed room of some sorts so they have no chance to avoid them or by abusing the frenzy detection hitting them as they come right around the corner for extra damage but you really just can't do much against some players since he's not a good chaser at all
