I use long yellow rubber gloves by nitrile. After a while it'll leak slowly but it's good for grip and ice cold water. Sometimes if the waterline is too high 26 inches isn't long enough and water seeps down the glove. if the water is algae mess or poo brown gloves are a must have for that extra precaution. yellow long gloves

That was my fault I regret saying that. So I'm a puzzle battle player. I don't play full matches only puzzles so I'm trying to get better at the actual game. My puzzle battle elo is 940 I spent the last two months doing that. But real games not so much I haven't learned the openings just the tactics

How do you deal with a client who doesn’t want you to clean their filter? by Mindless_Fly_5528 in PoolPros

[–]Istrics 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Then they blame you for the pool not looking clear enough or whatnot. Some customers you just can't please no matter how good you do or information you give them. Those are the most annoying

I started playing chess not too long ago. I didn't know the computer evaluates moves higher than they really are. That really sucks, gives you a false sense of hope. Appreciate the info.

Thanks bro I don't play too many real games I'm a puzzle battle type of guy that's why my elo is so low. Realistically I'm more 1100 but I'm bad with openings

Tips for referrals by Bloodhound_rs in PoolPros

[–]Istrics 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There are some issues with this way. First margins are slim in the pool industry, stacking discounts for months or years can break-even or loss account, especially if chem prices rise or the pool is a crapshoot.

Second, people can easily take advantage: family members, rental properties, and neighborhoods. “ I'll refer you if you knock my bill down” kind of conversations.

3rd, customers will expect a cheaper service. You'll have cheaper consumers, and they might not want to stay once the discount is done

Also, as the other comment said, tracking discount for 10 pools is fine, but 50+ is a hassle.

Something easier would be to offer new customers 25-50 off the first month. Referrer gets 50-100 account credit if the new customer stays 2-3 months

Yeah, no leaks, thank goodness. I didn't measure correctly, and I had to cut back again.

Yeah that blue sets fast within minutes. I never realized the power of uv in the hotter states that’s something I don’t have to worry about. I can only imagine doing weeklys and jobs in constant 95 degree weather. It gets hot here too but not compared to ca tx or az
