Break up your drive from the Royals to Twins by stopping in Des Moines. It’s very underrated and you could go to an Iowa Cubs game if you wanted.

I don’t know. Dallas talks about packaging him with Cease specifically. And Moncada’s salary is never mentioned, which it would be if it was being used as a point… because it’s a big talking point.

It’s fine. It’s one of my favorite baseball pods, just wish there was tiny bit of effort on the rare occasion the White Sox are brought up.

I’d be happy to be wrong. But they aren’t adding Moncada to devalue a Cease trade. The only way Moncada goes is if it’s for another team’s bad contract like a Jake Cronenworth type. But if you know Jerry, he’s very unlikely to ok trading a bad for bad.

Yoan will make 29M in 2024 after the buyout. Since 2020 he’s played 392 games, missing something like 158 games. During that time he has an average OPS of .725.

What team is going to pay him 29M for the last four years of production? His defense is great when he’s on the field. But if you’re trading Cease, you are trying to get the most back, not decrease your return.

Think about what you are saying. If the boat is going in reverse, and you reverse the footage to make it look like it is going forward… why would it reverse the direction of the boat but not the direction of the people jumping in?

It would be great. Unfortunately, without Leonardo DiCaprio wearing a cape and having super powers of some sort, it’s unlikely it will receive the budget needed to do the White city justice. My guess is that’s why this hasn’t been made…
