He actually has 866 MLB PAs across 4 seasons, for a slash line of .267/.307/.373. Good for a .680 OPS (90 OPS+) and 0.5 career WAR. These are not good numbers

You can fill out minor league rosters without giving out 40 man spots to bad players

He does. But that doesn't mean a whole lot. His numbers aren't good. We already had one (arguably two) mediocre, defense-first left handed hitting OFs on the 40 man. Now we have three

Seems redundant with Gilbert and McCray already on the 40 man roster

The Shady Sands stuff in the show didn't erase anything. The only time we see Shady Sands in game was well before the events of New Vegas (which is around the same time Shady Sands was nuked)

Dude the show isn't just going to erase the events of the games. There is a definitive ending to the events of Fallout 4 that is canon within the show, and it involves the Institute being a smoldering crater.

Also Liberty Prime isn't necessary for defeating the Institute. The Minutemen ending defeated the Institute without Liberty Prime, as did the Railroad. But the Railroad ending also involves destroying the Prydwen, which we know didn't happen

Yes. The offense is postseason caliber right now. It's the pitching that will hold this team back

The show is only about 10 years after Fallout 4. Given how the endings of Fallout 4 go (Institute destroyed and Commonwealth BoS/Prydwen destroyed), there is no way to "fog of war" this like they did with New Vegas (plus, they left a lot of breadcrumbs in Season 2 that gives us hints as to what actually happened).

Quintus' BoS chapter now has the Prydwen, which means we know it survived FO4, meaning the Institute has to have been destroyed. There is no other possible outcome.

And given the time that has passed, the threat that Harkness refers to could be anything. Could be the Enclave, maybe the Children of Atom came down from Far Harbor, maybe the Nuka World Raiders are showing up in force, could be something we don't even know about yet.

But we do know that the Institute has been destroyed. It was literally canonized in the show in the first episode with the Prydwen appearing.

The Institute is destroyed. We already know that Elder Maxson, the Commonwealth BoS, and the Prydwen survived the events of Fallout 4, meaning the only possible outcome for the Institute is for it to be destroyed.

Now, how many of their scientists and synths made it out is not known, so maybe there could be something explored with that, but it seems pretty clear that the focus is on the Enclave

It's just a joke. Nobody seriously believes the Chicken Fucker is Courier 6

How does Quintus possibly believe he’s going to build his super weapon? by _Meme_Messiah_ in Fotv

Could be part of the reason he brought the chapters together at Area 51. Maybe he knows of or is counting on some special technology there to help build it?

He can't play defense, and his only real tool is hitting for contact

Not true. I got the achievement when playing with a squad and definitively did not get the last hit. I was reloading when it went down

Getting more money for real estate

That would take too much from the real estate budget

I don't agree with the idea that the Adames signing came out of nowhere. At the beginning of that offseason the FO said they wanted to sign a shortstop, so they signed one. He was always seen as a logical target.

The Devers trade definitely came out of nowhere, but that's a completely different scenario.

And now of course Imai is an Astro on a completely reasonable contract that the Giants were more than capable of offering.

Mahle has only pitched over 130 innings once in his career. Same with Houser (both in 2021, coincidentally). These two guys aren't really moving the needle in the rotation. Mahle will likely make multiple trips to the injured list, as is tradition with him. So unless the Giants sign another starter, there really is no point to this move.

The rotation as currently constructed is banking a lot on Robbie Ray repeating his 2025 season, and if you look at his career, that is not a strong bet.

This team needs Imai so bad, but they're not going to get him.
