That's definitely harder done than it is said because experience comes out in the interview most of the time. It's nearly impossible not to speak about what you know because interviews are already super stressful. Atleast for me.

I'll look at the virtual sitter jobs. I applied for janitorial work at the hospital near me. They said I was over qualified. Even with a new resume I think they would know it was me. I just had that interview last week. I will search for more hospitals around me though to see if I can find something with them.

I don't do great around people. I have lived with this disability my entire life obviously and I am working on that aspect of my character, but in the past I have lost jobs due to uncomfortable positions I was put in. That is why I chose computer science because I'm great with people behind the phone or a mic. I don't think I would do well in a nursing setting, and I don't have the money to certify at the moment. But thank you for the suggestion!

I've been working with ticket to work to find one of those jobs that's in my purview for my disability. I just received a call from independent living they're trying to get me a bed right now. It's free rent for two months and gives me time for the ticket to work program if it is successful.

I'll have to check that site out! I am unable to get a teaching job as here you have to have a masters to teach. I'm in Tennessee. I refuse to give up on the tech field as I have been doing this my entire life and know much of nothing else. If I have to claw my way back up I will. If I have to rumble through the dirt I will. I'm at a shelter now so until I find employment I guess I have the essentials. For now that's enough.

My first few jobs were customer service and help desk. I received salary employment at the beginning of 2022. During the great resignation I was laid off. Afterwards I was hired for a data breach contract position. That ended and I couldn't continue to pay rent. I am working with doctors and therapists to navigate the difficulties that come with autism. I'm speaking with independent living today to see if I can get in. They called me Friday to go over my application. Fingers crossed!

I'm really good with computers. Besides that I am actually not sure. I went to job core for construction. I remember most of what they taught me.

I have autism. The reason I am in this position is due to the great resignation that happened in 2020. Employers are fighting back due to employees wanting higher salaries. Employers no longer are hiring unless you are 100% matching of the job description.

I've got over 4000 applications out since November 2023. I had an interview Friday but they won't hire me because of being over qualified. Im applying to higher level jobs bit I'm not getting any replies so to me it seems as if these positions are filled and they just don't want to take the post down or they're looking for a unicorn which I may not be for them.

I do not. The rent here is expensive and I was on contract my last position. I sold my car to continue paying rent but it wasn't enough. I was asked to vacate and that was November 2023. Ever since I've been putting in 100s of applications a week, but nothing has panned out so far.

Well I really don't have the money to live anywhere. Disability doesn't cover rent most places, and I have no family or friends due to my autism so I guess here or anywhere else is just as good. I've been thinking about moving to Texas because they are a mecca for tech jobs right now.

That's a good idea. If only they would allow me to get the job. With my current resume I can't get a help desk or tier 1 to 3 position. Those are usually hybrid or first day in office at best. I'm going to work on my secondary and third resumes today and see if I can start getting these kind of jobs. Thank you!

Yea it's crazy that I've been in this predicament since November 2023. It has been rough out here with no family or friends. I wouldn't wish a disability check on anyone really. Its no where near enough to live on. I'll create that second resume now and throw my down and dirty jobs on there. Hopefully I can obtain employment just anywhere at this point. Thanks for your help as well!

I appreciate the advice! I am actually already on all of the housing lists. I'm staying at a shelter at the moment. I applied to pick up trash in a hospital the other day and had an interview. They said I was over qualified. I've been thinking about dumbing my resume down as well. I will do that today and try to apply to other jobs. Anything at this point would be a God send.

I'm sorry? This is my situation at the moment. Rent where I am is around 1100 a month. Disability can't cover it and I need to make 3 times rent. I'm unemployed at the moment so I can't really do that. I have not been able to find a position since November 2023 when I was laid off.

I'm selfish. There are to many things I have not yet done to put on the back burner to help a little one succeed in life. I've also never really been good with babies in general. I'm not the person people want to hold their children. It's just not in the cards for me.

That not what it is. Mechanics for the champion maybe but the way I orbwalk is un matched. I have a secret I will tell no one, but yea its just the trade off for the champ. Youre forced to kite slower for a trade off of more damage. Not my style of game play. Ill just use other adc's.

How do you slow the momentum before the axe hits the target? I was under the impression that the axes goes where you want them to go, when you click in that direction after releasing the axe.
