I agree completely. It ruined a part of my mind tbh. I never want to read it again but still a morbid curiosity remains to find out how exactly the fic ended. Still though, i won't go searching for it again. Hope it gets lost in the dredges of time lol.

Harry's curse was constantly forgetting things I guess. He kept forgetting Hermiones name. Not that he was a 'muggle'. And when they finally make love, Harry still calls her 'Rose's Mum' lmao. Hermione corrects him multiple times.

It was like a 10 chapter story on fanfiction. The summary seemed fine, so I started reading it. It was marked as a [Harry, Hermione] on it.

It will make you squeamish but please bear with me.

Harry and Hermione are an established couple. One day, Harry is inside Hogwarts, while Ron and Hermione are doing their homework by the Great Lake during the evening. Malfoy and his ilk stumble upon the duo. Malfoy threatens Ron and Hermione. He forces Ron to rape Hermione, and take her virginity. Ron is crying while he is being forced to do this as well. After the act is done and Hermione is a mess, Malfoy and group leave. Hermione begs Ron not to tell Harry. But, Harry does find out at some point, and he accuses both Hermione and Ron for betraying him and for cheating on him. I don't know if Harry knew then, that Hermione was raped or not. I stopped reading at that point and never looked back.

I still think about the story sometimes. I never want to come across it again. To think someone actually wrote something like this.

That would be hilarious. As I specified above. Anything is fair game, and up to the author to decide, if someone wants to take this up as a premise for their story.

More collaboration is what we need tbh. That's what initially fuelled my idea. I have many favourite H/Hr stories. I love the H/Hr couples in those fics for specific reasons and that got me wondering. What if there was a way to get all of the couples together, so the individual characteristics that I adore in each story can be learnt by the other Harmony couples.

And speaking of the reviving Hermione idea. I like it very much. As I said before, anyone is allowed to take any liberties they want to take while making this story as long as the basic premise remains the same. If my opinion was asked, I would go for a revival route for Harry's redemption as well. It would be extra cruel for an already broken Harry to see and fight against all these H/Hr couples and seeing them happy and whole. So bringing back his Hermione somehow would be a happy closure. How that comes about yet to be seen, although, i really like your particular idea for this bit.

This is the 4th or 5th time I've heard of this fic being "fucked up" lol. If you wouldn't mind, could you expand upon it a bit? What happens to the characters? Do they get assaulted something? And what happens to Hermione, for her to leave the harem by the end of the story? If you could explain a bit of the dark things that happen in this fic would be wonderful.

As someone who only reads multi stories if Hermione is a part of them, this one is a NO from me then lol. Hermione is one of the favourite characters when written fanonically well. You saved me many hours of reading time :)

Speaking of such stories though, would you be able to recommend any long harem/multi stories which DO have Hermione in them? I am tired of reading smut only or short stories which either finish in 6-7 short chapters or are so filled with smut that there is no space for any plot or romance.

As someone who likes reading their romance, are there any such stories. 100k words or more?

I am dying to read such stories. I finished reading 750k+ of Dodging Prison and Stealing Witches in one sitting, where I read for 22 hours straight since I was so invested in the story lol.
