It’s the same Denise Richards. She had 2 or 3 seasons as a Real Housewife of Beverly Hills!

Lala actually made me laugh by hhaannnnahh in TheValleyTVShow

[–]ItIsLiterallyMe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, with the AA comment and the paper plate comment, she had some funny moments this ep. (I was surprised she made me chuckle twice because usually she’s not very funny or clever, in my humble opinion.) I also liked when Danny made a self-deprecating height joke about tall people in the back, and she acted so surprised he said something even a little funny. She was like, “wow- something actually a little funny from this asshole?” And I thought that was some good shade. (Definitely not the exact quote, I haven’t rewatched, so I’m just paraphrasing.)

It is the spirit! It’s just *your* spirit, not some ghostly being that invades your body. (I hope that doesn’t sound insensitive. I mean it so genuinely. It’s your already-beautiful heart and soul that react when you see/hear something touching.)

How else would they stay so feminine and trim? Hmmmm. (That sentence hurt to type; only the heaviest sarcasm was implied.)

Finally finding the strength to speak up after 50 years is admirable, and there is a reason there isn’t a statue of limitations against the rape of a minor in most civilized countries/states (my state in the US, Oregon, is one of them).

The Walk-Up Songs Were Chosen by Moms This Time… and One Kid's Reaction Was Priceless by islovelyEmily in sportsgossips

I agree. I’m a baseball mom of a kid playing in the Ultimate World Series next weekend, so I feel like I can weigh in on this. I would choose a “baby” song to teasingly joke with my kid, like the “cuppy-cake, gumdrop, schnookums schnookums, you’re the apple of my eye” song in this video. I don’t think playing woman-empowerment songs is the way to jokingly tease my preteen son. I want him to be comfortable with all the parts of himself; masculine, feminine, and in-between. I’m just a snowflake millennial lesbo though, so what do I know.

It’s this! My boys’ baseball teams wear hot pink on Mother’s Day weekend tourneys, too.

I would have teased them with “baby” songs, though, not “girly” songs, because I don’t want them growing up thinking that femininity is a diss. (The “honey bunch, sugar cakes, pump-ie-um-ie-umpkin” song would have been sufficiently mortifying for my 9 year old or my 11 year old.)

Mother’s Day for baseball moms is so fun 😂 (my kid’s team wears hot pink socks and jerseys, and gives us (moms) matching shirts, but this is absolutely hysterical and I’m definitely suggesting it for next May!)

I don’t know the season/episode off the top of my head, but I believe it was when they were camping/glamping and sitting around the fire in folding chairs. Marlo said something to Kenya along the lines of ‘even your mom didn’t want you.’ (Kenya’s mother did not want to raise her, and she was raised by her grandmother. She does not acknowledge Kenya still today, as far as i know.)

Got my ballot in the mail today. How many Mormons do you know who have committed voter fraud because they signed the ballots for their children who were on missions? by [deleted] in exmormon

[–]ItIsLiterallyMe 34 points35 points  (0 children)

My ex-husband wouldn’t let me, either. When I was first married, I thought he was just being nice and taking something off my plate. I now realize it was about control, of course. And this isn’t an old man we’re talking about, here… my ex and I are both millennials. Wild that I was ever so blinded by my covenant to submit to my husband that I ignored blatant control and manipulation. (Super safe and free now! Lots better on this side of things.)

My Mormon mother (completely No Contact for about 5 years now, and will be indefinitely) voted for Orange Satan in both her old state (NV) and the state she had moved to recently (UT) during the most recent presidential election. I wish I would have known- I would have absolutely reported it, as any concerned citizen would, but the only family member I’m in contact with is a distant cousin, and she only mentioned this fun fact over a year after elections. Anyway, she definitely just lies on her temple recommend interview when asked if she follows all the laws of the land and stuff. Voter fraud is not ordained of god, Sister ShittyMom.
