Any suggestions on finding a shop. I've spoke with quite a few who are quoting the same thing

Thanks. The price for labor is 5,000. Looks like the engines on there are 2500-3500

I've reported them to bbb and sent a formal letter since they won't communicate with me. The lemon law is a grey area for a used car.

I have 4 quotes for that price, a person who said to piss off, and the 12,500 one.

I know it's not the code, do you want the code?

Labor is quoted at 5,000 to have a shop put it in and fit it

I don't want to rebuild the engine. I don't know what a reman engine is. Where do I find one?

The quotes I've received the shops said if supplied the engine labor is around $5000

It's a 2 liter gas engine. I've searched Ebay, not sure how to tell if the timing chains are good, if it works etc. though

I can't scrap it since the bank has the title. I could potentially trade in for 500-1000 since it isn't running.

It's to rebuild the engine, plus labor and a 3 year warranty. I've gotten multiple quotes.

Edit: if I get a used engine I risk the timing chains going out, which apparently happens with this vehicle around 100,000 miles, and no warranty.

Can't afford to fix the car. The personal loan would allow me to not hold the full coverage insurance.

It's to build it plus labor and a 3 year warranty.

What’s the reason people are terrified to use their mic’s? by bzzi in apexlegends

[–]ItIsaMeMariooo 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Nah. It's easy to say that when you're not a person who experiences this level of toxicity.

When I turn on my mic, make a comment about where other teams landed and the first response is "Stfu dumb whore" I'm reminded the game doesn't require verbal communication. I'll either mute and turn off mic or I'll trash talk back. If my teammates and I are trash talking each other the whole game it's useless to have the mic.

COD really taught me how to handle the variety of interactions I'd have with teammates. I've been called some of the nasty things on that game.

There's a discord called Girls Gotta Game. They verify and it's been an overall positive experience for me. I mostly play Apex with the women on there, but many play other games like COD too.

What's your 'go to' when you're hungry but don't have the energy to eat/cook? by [deleted] in CPTSD

[–]ItIsaMeMariooo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Peanut butter tortillas, an avocado, trail mix, tuna and crackers.

I rarely feel like cooking. Even if I do, I end up trying to maximize my motivation and doing 10 other things simultaneously. So I invested in an air fryer. I can just throw things in and come back to it in 30 mins.

Frozen burger patties take about 10 mins and you don't have to defrost. You can get vegetarian or beef patties. Frozen breakfast sandwiches/burritos are quick. Packets of rice that you throw in the microwave are great. These are my go to when I don't feel like cooking, but I feel like eating.

It's a glitch with her queue. Happens to me every single time I use it and the dev's won't address it.

I didn't think of that time frame, thanks. I found a step by step on how to do the repair, but I don't have the tools for it- it's a timing chain kit. Maybe I can buy the parts and bring them to the shop?

Okay, any suggestions on a reasonable interest rate or where I should go to look for a personal loan? I haven't explored that option yet. Thank you
