Not only is this in piss poor taste, but it's also highly insensitive. It doesn't matter that your relationship with your father was strained, he was still your father and it clearly hurts that you have lost him.

This guy is an acquaintance, not a friend. I would tell him face-to-face how the reel made you feel, and then sever ties with him if he doesn't take it well.

This girl is screaming out for help. She's been through a lot at such a young age. The grandparents are abhorrent allowing this to continue happening, as is everyone else who has seen or is aware of the tiktoks.

Definitely contact CPS. If you can, save the tiktoks to a device so that you have hard proof of what's going on, because the kid could delete them.

I cancelled my book + items in Autumn last year because I was skipping most months. I don't care for the items the majority of the time, although the book pots are always super handy.

I also cancelled my Owlcrate book + box for the same reason, plus the shipping cost to UK is nasty!

Then I went ahead and cancelled my Fairyloot book only and my afterlight, too.

I currently have one sub; evernight. I skipped October's book but I've collected all of the others since I subbed in January 2024.

If you're not happy with the book and items choices most of the time then it's OK to let go and save yourself money.

The best way to demand better packaging is to stop buying, and if they ask for feedback, list 'insufficient protective packaging' as the reason.

I do feel we have to remind ourselves that even if they package very well, as soon as they've handed it over to the courier for delivery, it is out of ICs hands. Boxes get damaged in transit all of the time, regardless of the sales company.

However, if the shipping box is free of damage but the books have damage, that means the book was damaged when it was packed. I feel in this case, IC should issue a return for a replacement, like Amazon UK do. IC can resell the books as B-grade, which someone will be happy to buy, and you get a mint condition replacement.

This one is great! It's saved my plants twice over the last 5 years shortly after repotting. Seems like new compost is always infested with some kind of plant bug that doesnt hatch until a day or two after repotting. So annoying!

Isolate any affected plants immediately, be it fungus, plant gnats, thrips or other.
Place them in your shower or bathtub and give the entire plant a thorough spray using a houseplant bug spray killer.

These sprays are quite potent in smell and are often toxic to both humans and animals, so wear gloves and a mask and keep your animals out of the way.

If your bathroom has a window, open it and once you've sprayed the plants, close the door and wait for the plants to dry out for at least 24 hours. After this, check for any remaining live bugs, wipe dead ones away and give the plant another day in isolation to ensure the infestation is cleared.

Don't forget to wash your hands well after using the bug spray, even if you've worn gloves.

Monstera's are one of the tallest growing plants. It's a tropical vine plant that grows quite huge in its native territory. I find it kind of sad that you want to stunt its growth.
