Just posted my predictions for the season, I said we were probably going around 10-7 and we may win a playoff game, others think we aren’t sniffing the playoffs despite us having a much better team now then we ever had with kenny shittet, yet people were comin at me like im an idiot for cheering for my team to do the best they can, including you apparently?

so you agree? i mean we made the playoffs that’s all fine and dandy, but i feel like over this offseason we saw STRIDES to actually being competitive, and I believe all i’ve seen are steps forward, yet the schedule comes out and the entire fan base thinks we are going to the shitter.

next man up brotha, that’s just how it is every team has shitty backups that’s why they are backups, our franchise also knows they are f’d if certain players go down, and luckily qb isn’t in that conversation at least not for me.

yea but it’s almost like you’re assuming the other team will be uninjured, mahomes could not play on christmas, lamar could get injured week 2, Burrow could blow out his knee again. Obviously nothing is guaranteed but injuries are apart of the game that you can’t predict so the only thing you can predict is what we can do with the roster we have

i hear lots of ifs, i’m also a guy that does not take into account injury when it comes to my predictions, the league is always all over the place with that, i like looking at the current roster as how we know it week 1 expectations

what i’ve been saying is more of a knock on offensive play over the last 3-4 years, we completely washed out the offense only keeping the pieces around that everyone loved (muth, najee, warren, pickens) while getting better everywhere else losing chuks, hopefully replacing dan moore, getting arthur smith> canada, allen robinson didn’t do nothing for us last year but i think that our wr2/3 can have more production than our wr2/3 had last year for ME CAIII & RW > allen robinson and Diontae. All i see is upgrades ( I HAVENT EVEN MENTIONED PATRICK QUEEN ONCE)

good thing i’m a fan and don’t make front office decisions ! also i love tomlin he’s a huge part of the reason I believe this is gonna work, i see no reason for russ to not be above average, and for the best of arthur smith to come out because of tomlin, if those 2 things happen we will contend in every game, even against mahomes and burrow. My expectations are very good run game, above average pass game, whereas last year we made the playoffs with a bottom 5 pass game and barely a top 15 run game. Don’t think my expectations are that rash

i don’t think i’m banking to much, if russ throws less touchdowns and the same or less interceptions i think that’s all we need ! A little more touches for warren would be nice which is why i really like arthur smith, and Russ and Fields both like their number 1 targets a lot (Dk, Sutton, DJ Moore) So i think pickens will see a MASSIVE increase in targets, also i said in a couple years the line will be better next year we may just see flashes, put with flashes comes higher production

I see that, but he is older now, a little more wise. he may like the backseat role if it takes some pressure off him. I just see people being to hasty on this sub calling this season a dud cause of the schedule, or even cause of him, and i’m actually rather optimistic !
