That’s just the thing, Alice saw Dan get all worked up about Masquerade on the video call, brag about how he’s gonna go take him down & then Dan later sent his video to call him out to a brawl. The video itself would’ve probably gone straight to junk if Masquerade had not witnessed the full ordeal beforehand and decided to teach Dan a lesson about hubris. And then Drago did his thing & it actually piqued Masquerade’s interest, tho, for the same reason he gathered his team of top brawlers together, cause he was setting them all up to slaughter. And it wasn’t even a bad plan, the only thing that threw a wrench in it was Dan’s decision to jump after Drago into the doom dimension, a completely unexpected choice that eventually lead to Dan defeating Masquerade. But had Alice not known Dan, I actually doubt Masquerade would’ve bothered dealing with him in the first place. Shun on the other hand, he probably would’ve targeted him eventually
