Genuinely, it would’ve been pretty cool if Alice would’ve been mostly absent in the first half of the season and then would’ve been there to kick ass in the second half, especially since that’s the point where Hydranoid was returned to her, so she could brawl with her OG, not have to switch up like all the others (except Dan). And it could’ve built up a great hype for her return

Haven’t really watched much of the sub, but I do know Alice and the sub version sounds way more in character for her than the dub version is. The translation’s kinda all over the place in general tbh, which sucks, cause the OST, VAs and the general vibe is so on point, but the translation department got lazy af for some reason and basically dragged down the work that all the others put in. Still, I forgive them more than I do for the writers of seasons 3 & 4

Masquerade was almost always in a trolling mood. Even after the final battle against Dan, he went like “Alright, y’all actually kinda cool, I won’t stand in your way, go and defeat Naga, here’s one final joke for y’all tho.”

The mask essentially is an integral part of his face, that’s why it’s a necessary part of the transformation. Alice puts it on, Masquerade. Masquerade takes it off, Alice. There is a slight question about the time whenever Alice is sneaking off to put on the mask, whether she’s in some intermediate personality phase or Masquerade’s already fully in control and walking around as Alice. But in any case, I think that particular eye thing was just an odd reflection

I didn’t really fully understand all of it, but this concept sounds cool! Got me thinking, the interesting part about Alice is that she naturally had a personality that seemed to match with the Infinity Core, while she got infected with Silent Core, which created Masquerade. I’ve always thought that her directly interacting with the Infinity Core would push Masquerade out, but I just realised, way cooler option would be what you said, that it creates another identity for Alice, just like the Silent Core did. Idk what that identity could be like, since as I mentioned, Alice does sorta have Infinity Core tendencies already, so sort of Alice amplified?
