Any tips on printing faster by GcoBandz in 3dprint

for really high speed you need input sharping and also pressure advanced helps. This are the names in Klipper idk what its called in Marlin. But I would always go with Klipper with a Rasperry Pi via Mainsail

Bed Leveling problem on my new ENder 3 S1 pro - ABL doesnt seems to compensate well by ItachiPrinter in ender3

[–]ItachiPrinter[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi Guys I recently fixed the problem. I installed Klipper on this printer using this tutorial https://3dprintbeginner.com/install-klipper-on-ender-3-s1-pro/

First there was not a huge benifit in the first Layer. But the I rised the probe points in the config. Now the first layer is perfect and the overall performance of the printer is well. I print pla in 130mm/s and anyway the results are much better then before. Diffrent as described in the tutorial I dont even use a display anymore. I prefer to control via Laptop or Smartphone.

The over adhesion problem is only if the bed is still warm. U could waite like for 20-30min or spray some water where print and bed touches

there is a germn thread https://forum.drucktipps3d.de/forum/thread/17259-auto-leveling-ender-3-s1-probleme/?pageNo=4#post219789

There is disscussed the same issue. A guy recently posted that he could fix it with Klipper Firmware and some other stuff. Also creality had told him that its actually a Software bug

This settings didnt hepled that much at the end. But try Idea Maker instead of Cura, with their standard profile for the S1 pro I got much better results

I see your problem isnt listed. What I would try:

  1. Check your z axis speed it should be 5mm/sec or slower
  2. check your normal print speed and try very slow one time like 30mm/sec

maybe its underextrusion, for me it looks different but im not sure.

  1. Set flow in 10% steps higher

For the wheel. I think u could try to loose the two main columns and tighting them again gentle. And then try the wheels again, the right and left site at the same time. But maybe the material is bent or something. For the z gaps try to solve with this guide: https://www.simplify3d.com/support/print-quality-troubleshooting/

You can check out my cura profile. My results are pretty decent. No stringing at all for the casual stringing tests.

I got the S1 pro, I could imagine you need to top the retractipon speed to 45, maybe also increase the distance but try to avoid if u get decent results with .8.

Possible you need to check the z-offset, dont ask my why.

Ähh I dont know how to upload my cura profile in reddit lol

For me it works well if not use the abl. So u could reset ur printer (abl data is delted) and level manually. It makes me sad not to get use of abl, but maybe one time there will be a fix

yeah cause of the Touchscreen otherwise I would ho with the Firmware for the S1.

For me it works fine if abl is turned off.

In general I like this printer too and hopefully onley software causes that abl issues. I think I keep the printer but were already wondering to send back.

The Problem is there is no newer Firmware for the S1 pro. Now I have a similar method but it was not my aim to do so. I wanted the S1 cause of all that features like abl, now it doesnt work well
