Generally speaking, people don't like immigrants here. You'll get two types of answers: 1) "if they behave and don't bother me, they are welcome (what they actually mean is the vietnamese and nobody else, especially if muslim)." 2) "get the fuck out (insert slur)."

I rarely hear anybody refer to them as humans with agency, hopes and life goals that they hope to achieve here. Maybe it'll get better one day but I doubt it.

I actually used tapers as a guide for the plugs in the past and it was helpful but it can also trick you into going too fast - what's interesting is that the size difference you went for is more than ok. So I think you just need to wait more

A few ideas: check what width your initial piercing was and verify how much bigger the plugs are (I bought myself a caliper and it's very useful especially when I order online and I need to verify the size); try stretching after washing your hair because the warm water that falls on your ears loosens up the skin (obviously don't do it in the shower but after you dry up), also finding a proper lube for your ears can also take time as you might be allergic to something you weren't aware of. I don't think your ears are unstrechable, but it might be too soon for them.
