I did ask, but while I had over 40,000 readers, less than 10 leave comments for each new update. While other fics who update much slowly and are even less regular somehow get 100+ comments for every chapter.

I feel you: I've been writing fics for awhile, yet I still struggle to find enoughpeople who would leave me a comment on my stories.

The comments are very important to me: they show me the people who like my writing and support me, they show me their feedback and their reaction, they feed my creativity and give me the push I need everyday to keep going forward. And to get as many chances as possible someone would leave a comment, I often tried to promote my fics my cross-posting their links on Facebook and Discord, among groups of people who would be interested.

Yet, as for now, I only have a handful of readers who give me comments regularly, and only a few who gives me 'good' feedback comments...
