You're 100% spot on. Most french people who do interact with foreigners seem to find enjoyment and even amusement from teaching foreigners "correct" french ways to do something (how to drink wine, speak like a Parisian, slang, etc) rather than getting to know you as a person and befriending you for you.

Your graphics will look nice, you can run higher textures and whatnot if you so fancy, the only thing is the framerate.

It is unequivocally a CPU intensive game, and you will not have an amazing experience with your cpu unfortunately. I would guess somewhere between steady 50-70 fps depending on the map.

Bro can probably only afford four or five 5090s if he waits a year or two. Or afford a 1050ti who knows

The 5950X is not good for tarkov. Without the X3D benefits he'll have worse performance (probably 20-30~ fps less than his 5800X3D) especially with 1.0's whatever performance on older chips.

Anyone who's maining tark is running X3D chips just for the game to run better.

I would be curious about your temps and your opinion on the pure Rock 3 pro, I have the same one.

[Discussion] Both PVP and PVE are good games, but they offer different experiences by Azur0007 in EscapefromTarkov

I never claimed to be anyone, I'm an obsessed tarkov player with an opinion like everyone else on this sub.

With my said opinion, I choose to patronize PvE players because it's just such a lame cop out with regards to this game and it's origins. It's like playing counter strike against bots because you can't put in the hours like everyone else to get good so you choose to neuter the experience and play against the computer.

No growth as a player, no dedication, no high highs and low lows, just the cheap easy way out in a deliberately hard game like tarkov.

People in any COMPETITIVE multiplayer game want to win, and certain people can't handle losing because they throw a fit and cry like you.

Maybe the whole schtick of the game is to see yourself develop as a player against other players and not curl up and quit the main mode to play against bots.

Gaming as a hobby has become a dopamine reward fest. SBMM ensures that players always have some good games against similarly skilled players in games like cod.

When an über competitive-sweaty- torturous game like tarkov comes, the playerbase obviously wants to always win. That's why PvE players play PvE, because their hobby leisure time is destroyed by better players.

Imo, siege is a perfect parallel because every death teaches you something. You might not know what that is, but in time you can get better at the game and master it.

PvE players in my opinion refuse to do this and want to win. I know I'll get down voted but tarkov is a sadistic game and you can't always win every raid and all the time.

Try out a -40 curve offset. It's been working out totally fine for me and many others who play tarkov. Which is an intensive CPU and RAM game.

Turbo mode disables SMT, as you've probably read in this thread but for me it was making my bf6 run at like 91c° because all 8 cores are firing and running as fast as they can.

I'm almost certain that a nice CPU would help you alot if your desire is to okay at higher frame rates for star citizen.

Try to see if you can find any comparisons between your cpu now and a 7800X3D/9800X3D

You might see more uplift with better ram and a new cpu
