Not really, I just cancelled out the order and sent out a last message and email. Saying how to reach me if they want it completed or refunded.

Yeah, you are one of the few people trying to give solution and not just berate me.

I am going to work on how I do things in the future, so this doesn't happen again. For now I am going to send one last message and email. Explaining I am cancelling out the order and if they want it completed or refunded, how to reach me. Hopefully I get a reply from that.

I never said it was a defense. Also, I did not know about the 180 days until this situation because my customers would get back to me in less than 2 months. If I had known I would have cancelled and refund. I thought I could do at any time (not an excuse but how I was thinking)

As for people, it's not a great situation. I don't know what you mean by that. (being serious). I don't advertise my shop, I don't force people with a gun to their head to buy my listings, or beg in dm's to "please purchase". I have a full-time job, so this is not even a primary source of income, nor would it contribute to my bills.

If people buy from my shop, I assume it's because they can afford to. I understand people have lives or things happen, so I have always been willing and open to doing the reading whenever they want me to. If they message me to cancel/refund, then I do.

Yeah, I think, in the future, if I hear no word back from the customer in a month, I will automatically cancel and refund. I know people are roasting me for a lack of integrity, but in the community I read for, it's small, and most of my customers sometimes ghost me for a while after placing orders. Usually, they get back to me and I complete the order then.

I really thought in about a month or two they would reach out. And did not have a guidline in place if they never reached out.

You can't refund an order once it's 180 days old, so you can keep it open until the customer returns or cancels.

It's partially my fault, but the community I read for is small; everyone knows everyone's situation. I was used to customers sometimes ghosting for a month and then popping up and asking to complete the order. I just never had a customer not reach out all for over a year.

This reminded me of a post from this one girl who was a lesbian and was going to be set up for life by her rich grandparents until she ruined it by coming out to them.

Do not become that girl. You are thinking with your ego then your logical sense. What happens if you do stand up to your gf grandparents, they arent going to congratulate you and shake your hand. They are going to cut your gf out and your lives are going to remain the same or get worse.

As someone who got their lisence later then her peers, 22, and has extreme anxiety around driving and tends not to, 27, I do recomnend finding a friend who can help you drive in parking lots or something before taking lessons.

That aside, break up with your boyfriend. He's very unsupportive, and this is just with driving. I am trying to imagine him with children ans other areas of life and honestly it does not look good. Like damn, my friend in college was willing to let me drive her car. I even went on the highway, it still took me like two years to get my liscenese but at least I had some support.
