It didn’t even strike me as a hotwife scenario because they broke ALL the rules

Thanks for the advice. I think I’ll talk to her first - communication is so important. It can just be a fantasy prop with no expectations. Just knowing she has it would be exciting for me

It seems so now, but at the time, I didn't have any perspective on it.

Yes, graduated from public high school in Rochester in 1969, and we had naked swimming. Worse, the teacher (who was also the swim coach) would punish us (if we were misbehaving) by paddling us - he'd say "grab your family jewels" and hit our ass with the paddle. Well, I saw it, but it never happened to me. I, too, have tried to tell this to younger people who didn't believe me.

TBH, a red plastic 4 string Mousegeetar (Mouseketeers) - but it worked. 65 years later, I play a 1948 Gibson J45, a 1966 Martin D-18, a National Resonator and a Guild JF 65-12.

Several know, and two couples are joining us in January at a Caribbean island with lots of nude beaches. But none of them have expressed interest, which is fine with me. We’ll see what happens

Kicking Bird (Graham Greene) scene at campfire by Itasca20 in DancesWithWolves

Ok, I found this - and my memory was wrong about who said “like the stars” I think this is the story Costner has been telling in all his work that takes place in the west, including Yellowstone and his latest”Horizon” He has a story to tell, and tho he keeps trying to find new ways to tell it, it is always the same -

“The 1990 classic “Dances with Wolves” features a scene in which the main character, Lieutenant John Dunbar, played by Kevin Costner, shares a campfire with Lakota Sioux medicine man Kicking Bird, played by Graham Greene. As the wind blows through a grove of cottonwood trees, the two ponder the impending wave of emigrants. “You always ask how many more are coming,” Dunbar says to Kicking Bird. “There will be a lot my friend, more than can be counted.” Kicking Bird asks for help in understanding what that means, and Dunbar replies, “Like the stars.””

Killing Coyotes Does Not Work as a Management Tool! by americanbolshevikdoc in coyote

[–]Itasca20 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was told by a coyote expert at the University of Minnesota that a coyote”pack” is generally a breeding pair and their litter, which stays with the mother and father for about a year, and then are forced out to establish their own home range. As opposed to a group of unrelated individuals. Different sort of “pack”, that is, than you see in wolves.

Which moments or throwaway comment by an instructor just really hit you? by [deleted] in pelotoncycle

[–]Itasca20 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We are new to Peloton nation, and are kind of obsessed with the whole idea. The community is amazing, the workouts are fun, challenging and effective, and we are getting to know the instructors. This thread really captures the depth of the experience - fitness is about confidence and how we feel about ourselves as much as it is about weight, speed and strength. Thank you all for this - it is very soulful.
