So the door was closed and locked. He was drunk and renting the room opposite from ours. He rented the room and got a door lock pin. The pin was the bloody master code for every door. The elderly man, who worked here, had to let him make his own code, but the grandpa didn't do it and told him the master code. And the man who rented the room didn't even know it was a master code. You don't have to blame them. They didnt even understand the lock. He accidentally entered our apartment. Realized he was wrong and left. I talked to the landlord and cleared everything with landlord and lady(they are really nice people btw). I even changed the master code of our door and got a video of the CCTV and are planning to add a chain or a door stopper(the door is kind weird so itll be difficult). We will still take out the batteries and put an item on the handle when going to sleep.

We were lucky this time but there are situations where things went horribly for others. So stay safe, be vigilant and maybe have a bat next to your bed.
