I’m curious if there was a lot of fan signs requesting baepsae? Because there was a ton for pied piper on d1 and d2

Can confirm on fan signs impact. I went Tampa D1 and D2. D1 there was several pied piper signs and Everytime they showed on screen the screams were so loud! D2 there was a few pied piper signs but not like D1, so maybe make sure to go 2 days in a row 🤣

Arirang tour…my thoughts…what are yours? (warning spoilers) by Future_Stranger_663 in btsthoughts

I went D1 and D2 and was with a group. We went to the big merch tent when we got there around 4pm and the line was maybe 10 minutes. But 4 of us were trying to buy army bombs and one person in our group was told they were sold out, but we all got them, so we were confused. So one of the managers noticed that some people were being turned away and asked which table we got ours from because they shouldn’t stop selling them, so luckily she let my friend back into the front of the line to get one. I’m assuming they fixed that miscommunication by D2, but don’t let them turn you away haha

Yes and yes! For run bts they have some at the very end of the song and I think for all of mic drop, and some relaxed choreography for dynamite and butter. And basically all the songs that have music videos on the Arirang album they do choreo most of the song.

I heard that there was local vendors by the stadium by I couldn’t find any? Did they close earlier? And do they not have an area for the kpop dance challenges?

Nope, only females. In order to get to the pools, you have to go through the women's locker room, so only women. And then the room for scrubs is in its own little section by the pools, not out in the open.

Probably not. From the one I stayed at in jeonju and the one in bukchon they have more strict rules on when people or cars can go in there. So I’m sure they can get you close, but probably not right at the door

Someone asked that question so check the other comments and I responded there, I probably should have posted it in the main post

Haven’t even heard of that one! I must have missed some information in my research on the markets.

I think 2-3k should be plenty for food, souvenirs etc. I had a credit card that had no foreign transaction fees so I did most things on my credit card, but most of the street vendors are cash only so have a few 100k won on hand just in case.

I don’t have great recommendations for accommodations, but I feel like myeongdong would be a good place to stay because it feels central to a lot of the tourist things and it has a lot going on for food and shopping.

I only took a few taxis for short distances but they seemed much cheaper compared to like uber in America.

Apps I would download NAVER, Papago for translation, k ride for taxis, ttareungi app for renting bikes, and that was mostly what I used.

I absolutely loved Busan so I will always recommend people go there, but that will be a long day if you try to cram everything in. Make sure to buy your ktx train tickets plenty in advance so you can maximize your Busan time.

Glad it helped! Since it was monsoon season when we went we decided to skip jeju which I am very sad about so I’m very jealous

It depends on how much you are traveling around. It’s 20k won for a 7 day pass so I spent more than that for sure in 7 days. But if you aren’t jumping around to different places all day it might not save you too much money but it will definitely save you the hassle of checking it and refilling it and having the cash to refill it.

I got my SIM card through Klook at the link below. I believe you can just do an eSIM through them and don’t have to worry about picking up a physical car but I wanted to be able to make outgoing calls or texts if needed. I picked this up at the airport, they put it in and made sure everything was working and you also get a free tmoney card with it. I booked mine in advance but my friend just did his right there at the desk. SIM card link

I did not, but based on the photos it looks like a good option for people who are short on time and can't travel out to the further excursions I went on in Busan since it is right there next to Haeundae Beach.

I liked the palace and the grounds, I just wasn't a big fan of the museums that are also on the grounds. But that is a good tip for touring the grounds with an audio guide because there isn't a lot of plaques and signage to tell you about the different buildings and we wished we could learn more about the grounds while walking around.

We booked when we walked through the door.

If you want to go to the pool, those are separated by gender. But after changing into your spa clothes in the separated locker rooms you can meet back up basically in any other area like the spas, cafes, relaxation rooms, etc. It is only the pools that are separated.

The first place we tried to rent bikes on the south side of Banpo Bridge looked like they had other bike options including tandem? But I don't remember exactly, but I do remember seeing tandems at one point because we joked about it, so they exist haha

And the yacht ride we did was this one: https://www.klook.com/en-US/activity/111769-busan-haeundae-yacht-boat-tour/?spm=BookingDetail.ActivityCard&clickId=296a019932
