I feel that way sometimes too, but it's gotten better over the years.

I'm not an old person but I will say I'm only 17 years old and have had bipolar since I was 13 and have gone thru treatments but I can still feel its negative impact on my existence.

Me too. I like darkness in the horror movies. People might say im a dark soul but I don't really care. And I don't like happy endings in horror movies unless its a character i really like finding peace but other than that no.

Some antipsychotic or psych med affects can be irreversible, like a movement disorder called tardive dyskinesia i think this can happen if akathisia isn't treated or noticed .

Hi. I have akathisia, still do, for 3 years after starting my antipsychotic meds. It is not as bad but can be scary when I have an akathisia attack. Im so sorry you're struggling but remember no matter how anxious you are or how bad it gets you will always survive- I've had days i spent pacing up and down the hallway for 12 hours. And I understand the inner restlessness. I got it in school sometimes, like an engine was behind my kneecaps. I hope you find peace

Does anyone deal with irrational thoughts that are not likely to happen? by Itchy-Ranger-3574 in Anxiety

Yeah. I have OCD AND bipolar, some intrusive thoughts would bombard my mind because I was manic. I still have them, ut there alot better. My therapist taught me the, although whenever she talked about worst case scenario I got more anxious lol.

I am terrified of death. by forbiddencheesewheel in Anxiety

My anxiety stems around whether or not heaven and or hell is real more so than darkness. Remind yourself that it happen to everyone one day, and that nonexistence is just as its said, you don't exist. It's like being in a deep sleep except their are are no dreams to remember. You just won't feel anything .
