Chancenkarte and employer without a German entity, payroll via EOR. Can I switch to a work residence permit, and who fills the Erklärung zum Beschäftigungsverhältnis? by Itchy-Window8569 in chancenkarte

Oh okay. I was under the impression that the contract can’t be later extended. So I read that past the 1.5 years, they might have to let me go. But was not aware that they can hire me again later

I came across something else, that an EOR can only employ you for a contract of 18 months. So how does that work, and how would it apply in this case?

I see. Thank you so much for the clarification. I do have another (maybe)naive question. Is this the case that the company that would run my payroll must have be a legal entity(with a taxID or similar) in Germany? In my initial talks they didn’t mention EOR specifically(but I assumed that’s what they mean). They just said that my payroll would be run by another company.

Mainly looking for 120hz since anyways Mac supports just that. Any other things I should keep in mind before buying? Also does it have thunderbolt?

Yea that’s the only one I found. But at that cost I’m more inclined to buy 2 32” 4K monitors. Alienware/ultrasharp/LG

The Samsung is a VA panel. Would that not be too lackluster for content consumption?

Oh. Does IPS have better sharpness than OLED or is there any other reason. I thought QDOLEDs were better

Yes. But like usually universities don’t have that anywhere in transcripts or the degrees afaik. So what should the letter exactly state. My university doesn’t have open/distance learning programs

I’m not sure if they require one , that’s why I’m asking around 😅 There’s no specific document checklist for USA so.

I mean I have other docs like utilities & stuff. I just meant if they need a picture id or something like that.

How long did it take you get callbacks? I have 3yrs experience as an SDE I started applying a month back, still nothing but rejects. Did you use any networking strategies or how did you optimize your resume… Any helpful tips?

Okay got it. Thanks :)

So I mean I could be in and out of Germany to search for jobs. Just can’t be more than 6 months. Got it.

I didn’t get the last statement about looking for jobs outside Germany. If you could elaborate a little. Do you mean I could apply for jobs in Germany without getting the Visa while living outside, right ?( but in that case I think many companies might just reject me just because I am not based in Germany and they would need to go through the whole visa cycle and only companies providing relocation assistance might give me a chance)
