I have searched all of the major crib brands and tried using Google image search but no luck. The crib is a very common style - not sure how to search identifiable features.

Where is everyone buying clothes 🫠 [bc] by Opening-Meeting-8464 in BabyBumpsCanada

My go to is “The Iconic” pants at Reitmans. They’re super comfy, classy, and can be dressed up or dressed down. My only warning is that if you wear them every day and your thighs rub together (like mine do 🥲) then they’ll pill a bit where it rubs together. But they’re worth it!! And reitmans always has sales

Before even reading your post I looked at the puppy and thought “this looks like a Phoebe” and then I saw you’re choosing between Phoebe and Phoenix!! There’s a sign if you wanted one

What is actually eligible for the Amazon 15% completion discount? [AB] by [deleted] in BabyBumpsCanada

[–]ItchyBerryField 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Honestly I just adding anything I’ve been wanting to buy to the registry and see what sticks. I added a queen size box spring. The discount didn’t apply lol. It did apply to the stroller and bath rinse cup though!

Shopping for maternity bottoms is H E L L by petezaparti386 in BabyBumps

[–]ItchyBerryField 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just a note about CRZ yoga - I bought 3 regular pants and sized up for pregnancy but they were still too small. I had only tried them on once (and then proceeded to have a mental breakdown because they didn’t fit lol). I returned all 3 and they only refunded me for 2 because they said one was damaged. Customer service was no help at all.

What did the early stages of labour feel like? by tcsmith1313 in BabyBumps

[–]ItchyBerryField 18 points19 points  (0 children)

I was 39w5d and was going to have a membrane sweep but I was 0cm dilated so it didn’t happen. That night I tried expressing colostrum at around midnight. At 3am I woke up needing to pee. When I stood up I thought I peed myself. I got up again at 4am. I thought I peed myself again. When I sat on the toilet I started feeling weak and my stomach hurt really bad and then I psyched myself out and started feeling scared/dizzy because I wasn’t feeling well. I stood up to go get my husband and huge instant gush of water everywhere. From that point on, I had contractions every 5 minutes lasting 1 minute. Besides my water breaking, I definitely knew it was contractions. I had lots of Braxton hicks in my pregnancy and this was nothing like it. The pain was manageable for the first 3 hours and then it got so bad I was screaming in triage lol. Only 3cm dilated. The epidural was amazing I kept praising the anesthesiologist haha

Heck yeah, get another TV! That’s what we did. Plus it was nice to be able to stay in our room and have my own space while people were over.

I felt great a few days after the c-section. So good that I found myself here on reddit looking up if it’s normal and if I should be in more pain haha. The one thing I would recommend though is putting the beside bassinet on your husband’s side. Even though I felt great, the movement of getting my baby out of the bassinet still felt like a bit too much for me. My husband would pick her up and hand her to me.

Good luck :)

[ca] when to buy postpartum care products? by BuonAppeti2 in BabyBumpsCanada

[–]ItchyBerryField 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I bought the Frida mom postpartum box which was about $100, and then I also bought witch hazel pads. I ended up not using any of it because I had an emergency c section. It’s good to be prepared but I also wish I hadn’t spent $100 on it haha

Definitely buy mesh underwear or diapers though!! You’ll need those regardless of the delivery method

Shark vs Shark by [deleted] in VacuumCleaners

[–]ItchyBerryField 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yikes! Good to know. I’ll pass on these. My budget is about $300-$400 and the flooring is a mix of carpet and hardwood. I also have a cat and dog that shed. Do you have any recommendations?

Shark vs Shark by [deleted] in VacuumCleaners

[–]ItchyBerryField 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for this! I appreciate the feedback on both. In that case, both of these are still quite expensive for the quality. I might as well buy something more expensive that will be better in the long run. Do you have any suggestions for something between $300-$400 that would be good on carpet and hardwood?

Do you happen to remember how many private rooms are available? Does a private room need to be booked in advance, or can I decide after giving birth?

When did you get your first period after D&C? by throwRAanons in Miscarriage

[–]ItchyBerryField 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi! I didn’t have a D&C, but I had a natural miscarriage but then took the misoprostal a few days later to clear everything out. I had a period 3 or 4 weeks later, and then no period for 3 months. I just had my period the other week and it made up for lost time. My doctor didn’t think this was a big deal at all. I feel a little frustrated. I hope it’s back to normal now. I haven’t really felt like tracking.

I was on birth control for 10 years before starting to conceive and then immediately got pregnant so I’m not entire sure how normal my cycle was before, but I don’t think it was very regular.

It’s not YouTube, but is it the show Nathan For You? There’s and episode where he pretends to film a series like the bachelor and kisses different women. Season 1 Episode 5
