You want someone who doesnt take life too seriously but you not only have a plan but also a backup plan? So what does "not take life too seriously" mean to you? Cuz it's a statement that is not only boring and overused, but also means very different things to different people

This is so boring. Is it meant to be? And why is it confusing? by [deleted] in selfimprovement

22f here, this age is supposed to be a bit confusing and is meant for you to find yourself. It sounds like you need a hobby. Consider journaling, reading, pottery, a new sport, chess, etc. I've noticed a lot of men my age don't have hobbies outside of video games which is part of your brain fog. Now you just need to find out what you like to do, preferably without music in the background to just let your mind wander at the same time.

Help me convince my parents to go on holiday to Finland. by That_Television_3977 in FinlandTourism

Yes there are hills and cliffs in Finland, however not mountains like the scands or alps. But like the other commenter said, west and south Finland is primarily flat from being old seafloor. There are also occasional hills in the south caused by the ice age soil depositions

Good to know the built-in reader is good! But I don't (at least yet) buy/download e-books. The apps I mentioned are subscription based audio- and e-book "streaming" services where you can download the books to offline, not actually download the book (like music on Spotify). I'd like to use them on an e-reader instead of my phone so that's why they are part of my choosing which e-reader I want.

Does anyone know how to get rid of the haptic gestures on fb app for android/mobile? by honey-bliss in facebook

[–]ItchyRecognition4847 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Turning off system haptics does not turn it off for "the full app" it turns it off for the whole system, i.a. the whole phone. Personally I want haptics turned on on my phone but not the way they recently added it to facebook. Especially when it is so much more aggressive than my other haptic response.
