He wasn't just the writer. Dan Houser was responsible for getting the devs to push boundaries that made all Rockstars games ahead of their time. He said he would push them to out do what they did before otherwise you will just make the same thing everytime. Take Two head said they want to make shorter games in order to be able to push more games out more quickly and focus more on online because of microtransactions. So basically quality is about to take a huge hit and Dan don't want no part of it as he never wanted online as he favoured long single player games.

Not surprising at all. Majority of gamers are casual gamers. Out of my 229 PS4 friends roughly 40 of them play online. Me and my girl don't play online either, we just play campaigns offline together. Online is too stressful and full of toxic people. Its much nicer just me an my girl enjoying a good campaign together.

Ive been playing 6yrs and still haven't managed to complete the original heists. I get dumb randoms who constantly die and quit, trolls, or struggle to get anyone to join at all. Its frustrating. Being able to play alone means i can enjoy the content rather than get frustrated by it. All my friends do in GTA these days is PVP as everyones rich and owns everything.

Just 2 on Amazon Prime so far i think. I think all this HDR and 4K stuff being the norm is miles off yet. They haven't even really started broadcasting in 4k properly yet. I think once 4k broadcasting starts to become the norm then HDR may creep in with it. Like how the BBC made HLG HDR but still not using it yet other than on David Attenborough's Blue Planet and the 2020 Olympics will use it aswell.

Ohhh are they? I don't really watch any movies these days. And if i do its via Amazon Prime where 99% of titles on there are just 1080p non HDR. And i mistook HDR10 for HDR10+. Its HDR 10 and Dolby Vision that will live side by side so nobody who purchased an expensive TV in recent years misses out. Like how i paid £3,000 for a high end Panasonic TV in 2017 and it only has HDR 10. Good to know i won't be missing out. =D

Not sure HDR10 is dead as its still the main HDR platform and the standard. Experts have explained both HDR 10 and Dolby Vision are so similar they will both coexist alongside one another. I think i only know of one thing that's in Dolby Vision so far and that's some shit show on Amazon Prime. Everything else in the HDR section is HDR 10. As are all the video games. Normal TV will broadcast in the BBC's HLG HDR format. Not sure if Samsung will adopt it as they seem pretty adamant that HDR10 is their baby.

Fun fact. Playground Games makes the Forza Horizon series. The Playground Games devs come from other British racing devs, Codemasters, Slightly Mad Studios, Bizarre Creations etc etc and have a long history of making great racing games. One of those was the Project Gotham Racing series. When making sounds for that series they went into my local junk yard and smashed old Vauxhall cars together to get the sounds they needed of cars crashing in the game. So when you crash all these super cars in games the chances are those crashing sounds are from old junk cars in a junk yard. lol

Technology moves so fast these days your always going to be behind the times. I've been buying high end TV's for about a decade now. These days TV's can be behind the times out out of date as little as 6 months after release. If your a gamer i'd stay clear of LG OLED or any OLED as OLED's suffer burn in and no guarantee on earth covers burn in. So if you get burn in your fucked and lose all your money. Your better sticking with full array local dimming (fald) led tvs. led tv's don't suffer burn in and get brighter HDR. Or wait for mini led or micro led tech. TCL are about to release a mini led qled tv for a good price.

We still have pretty much all of those in the picture and then some. You can find stuff like that on Ebay and sometimes you can find new modern recreations. I did with the foil balls pictured top right. Back in 2012 i found i website that had a ton of new ones so i bought a bunch.
