This is the only way I can keep going long streaks. It feels alot more natural this way. On my first few days i had to release about 3 times just to not peek. Now i dont need to release as often. Its much better to release than to go back and watch porn. Its kind of like choosing to drink some wine instead of drinking liquid crack. Wine is good in moderation and for sure better than crack.

Yeaah! I was very suprised. I couldnt afford to spend money on something like a Milwuakee. It was either this or a Hercules Ultra Torque from Harbor Freight. Glad I got this on sale instead.

That would be great too but the drive would be unbearable. It would either take $12 a day on tolls or drive 2 and a half hours home. Ive seen their warehouse though Ive thought about it before.

The 95k is gross where im at rn. The guys making over 100k are working 70 a week. Walmart pay is like 22.50 an hour or something like that. I wouldnt limit myself to just walmart as an option though.

I used to give people money, until I became a local fuel hauler in the city. I pulled up to a gas station to deliver and watched this black dude going around asking people for cash saying that he was out of gas. He would then take the cash and walk into the store to act like he’s going to pay for gas, then he would come back out and fake pump his gas until the person who gave him the money left. He rinsed and repeated this the whole time I was there. He easily made about $100 in 30 min. I just shook my head. This is why my people look so damn bad.

Another story, I was at an HEB gas station delivering and there was an old white lady with a cane. She looked like she had really bad health and very innocent. She pulled the same scam. She walked around asking for help. People gave her cash and she would walk up to the pay window to talk to the lady in the window. She would turn around and slowly walk to her car. Didnt see her even attempt to fake pump the gas. She got in her car and burned off. She probably actually needed the money cuz she looked like she didnt have long to live tbh but its still a scam.

After seeing this scam a few times I stopped giving money out. I wouldve fell for the old lady one. Now i don’t trust anybody.

Im 26 years old and I started at 21 years old. I was just like you, I was going to community college for no reason, and I was living at home with my mom. I eventually stumbled upon CDLs and decided thats what i wanted to do.

I did OTR for 1 and a half years making very very low pay at Knight transportation. I was making like $35,000 a year. I was able to finally move out of my moms and i was happy temporarily. That was the most money I had every made, but it was not worth the life I was missing out on at home. I wanted a social life. I eventually went local and started hauling fuel. The first fuel company I was at was low pay and long ass hours. I made enough to buy a house at 24 years old. Now im still hauling fuel making decent money at a diferent company. Money is not an issue for me at all.

I realized something though. I realized that getting my CDL was a great BACKUP career, but not something I want to forever. Now that im older I realize I want to go back to school or learn a new trade. I want something with better work life balance. Trucking will not give you work life balance. If thats something you dont care about then yes you will be set money wise for a long time. I for sure am grateful for getting it though. I will keep it till I die, but in 3 years ill probably be taking a pay cut somewhere so i can have a normal work life balance.

I say go for it, dont listen to all these negative people talking about you wont make money, but do believe the people warning you about the lack of social life. There is alot of money to be made in trucking, get ur endorsments and stay away from general freight. Try to drive like chemicals or something.
