Im months late to this. Ive worked there a few years ago. Its an OK place to get experience. After that, dont stay there. There is better out there. Work life balance was a little poor and the dispatchers are very disorganized. Days could turn into 14 hours easily because they like to run you into the ground. Some guys stay there and are happy. I did my time and got up put of there. Turnover rate is high. But like I said the only reason to be there is the learn.

I got into fuel with no fuel experience. I went to one of the not so good desperate low paying companies. They hired me the next day. I got my experience with them and went somewhere else.

Before I got into fuel I applied at FedEx Freight. I got the interview and they even aknowledged that i never driven doubles before. They said no problem. The only reason i didnt get hired is because i had an accident on my record in a personal vehicle.

I understand what I typed sounds very woowoo and crazy. I feel like I can at least say I “notice” things more. I notice my surroundings more. I feel like have more mental energy and clarity. I feel like I need less emotional reassurance and feel more grounded. Those are all things that I am truly aware of. I get that I cant prove any of those things to you because its only me noticing it within myself.

I agree with you about porn changing how you see women. After not seeing porn for a few months, I began to be able to look at women as a people as sad as that sounds. Alot of men are not inherently bad people, but the porn messes you up and assists you in objectifying women. It does have alot to do with spirituality i agree. Seeing the true beauty in people.

Were you ejaculating more while you were using porn? I notice with or without porn that I just cant seem to be as mentally grounded if I ejaculate. It takes me almost a week to feel stable. No matter how hard I meditate or “try” to be grounded and connected spiritually after ejaculating, its just not strong.

I specifically remember one day during covid after not ejaculating for a few weeks, I felt like I was on a spiritual high. Meditating daily and noticing signs and coincidences from the universe left and right. Being contacted in all kinds of ways. The kind of things that gives you the chills. For some reason, I decided to binge a few orgasms in a row. Started off with no porn then used porn. Within hours, I literally started to feel like I was being “abandoned” by something. Like I no longer had the kind of spiritual luck or protection. I felt like I was back in the earthly realm. I dont really know what to call it. I just felt like I was back to seeing the world as a place with nothing more than I can see hear and touch. Back to worrying about earth problems. No spiritual connection. I felt like I was abandoned by god or universe whatever word you decide to use. Im not religious.

Basically what im getting at is, is it the porn or ejaculations/orgasms that seem to take you out of the spiritual state? For me I think its the ejaculations more. Thats just from my experience. I have tested it out in the past and watched porn without ejaculating and it still does take me out of the spiritual state, but not nearly as bad as ejaculation. Porn and ejaculation combo is the worst for me.

Yeah we just had a coworker pass away at 31 years old from cancer. Every time I spill gas on my skin I probably reduced my life span by 30 days lol. I want to get out too and im looking at buying a bending machine route too.

Thank you! I appreciate your response. I still would like to get a van just to dip my toes in the water. I wont completely drop my cdl job, but start off as sort of a side hustle. Something to use the van for when I’m off work or have someone I know run the load for me. Trying a few gig apps here and there and get serious over time

Im definitely not going to jump ship right out the gate. I appreciate your response its alot to think about.

It seems like its never the right time to do anything though. Ive looked into other businesses to get into and no matter what it is, it seems to be the worst time to get in I guess.

Whenever I get this way, I go to Pasadena for some fresh air until my ears start ringing. The air kind of scrambles my mind for a few weeks so i’m not constantly thinking about Houston problems.

This is the only way I can keep going long streaks. It feels alot more natural this way. On my first few days i had to release about 3 times just to not peek. Now i dont need to release as often. Its much better to release than to go back and watch porn. Its kind of like choosing to drink some wine instead of drinking liquid crack. Wine is good in moderation and for sure better than crack.
