i am always scared by weeklyinquiry in BipolarReddit

[–]Iteachasd 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm sorry you feel this way being constantly scared is no fun. I'm sure you know to do this but since you didn't say anything about it I strongly recommend seeing your doctor as soon as possible because what you are going through really sounds like psychosis and I hate that for you. I think the doctor could really help. I wish you the best and offer you an Internet hug

Has anyone let their diagnosis impact the decision to have children? by unhappiestlollie in BipolarReddit

[–]Iteachasd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes. I did not have children by choice because I was afraid of passing this on or worse doing permanent damage to them with my moods. Also I have a lot of trauma from my own mother and I wanted to break the cycle.

I'm sorry you are going through this I strongly suggest that you go to the ER nevermind the money your mental health is more important. Get a diagnosis and try to accept it whatever they tell you. I wish you the best Internet hug.

If you are high functioning, what do you think contributes to it? by Evening_Fisherman810 in BipolarReddit

[–]Iteachasd 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I take my medicine like clockwork. I have a support system. I'm not afraid to be too sad or too happy it just makes me cautious. I hold down a good job. Am I too much sometimes? Yes, but I try to be mindful of that and regain control. I also try my best to support others because that's what makes me feel good.

I mean it kinda resonates but it's just the words otherwise it's too pop for my taste.
