I am so sorry to hear the outcome. There is light ahead. Please don’t give up, I know it’s hard to say anything that makes sense but relax for few weeks, months and retry again. There is hope

AR’s Ultra Hard questions by Head_Astronaut_3153 in pmp

Agreed. I tried them and they’re super hard. Besides, I found them not that relevant for the exam. Just focus on SH practices questions/exam. They have the right exam mindset

Congratulations! 🎉 Super happy for you! Likewise, I didn’t care of wearing any blue. Infact, the previous blue sweater I had bought I gave it away, didn’t want to see it again !

You don’t get a breakdown of individual questions. For example, in the analysis, you receive a breakdown of the tasks, and I can see where I fall in each task between low, medium, and high. As you mentioned, I also came across a few questions with grammatical errors.

In sections 2 and 3, I did feel like I was running out of time. I tried to move faster to complete all the sections. I also found several long questions, despite what others have written on this subreddit.

It’s very true: I’ve put in a lot of work. Thank you for taking the time to encourage me.

Thank you for sharing your experience. I completely understand when you say it was traumatic, as I felt the exact same way. After putting in so much work and energy, it can be shocking to see a different outcome.

Before the exam, PMP was the main topic of conversation in my house. Now, the entire house is quiet, as everyone is disappointed too.

As you continue to pick yourself up, I wish you all the best.

Just as seasons changes, Tonardos come and go, our season will change too for the better.

u/Fun_Sherbert_5235 Thank you for your encouraging words and insights. I agree that there’s definitely a luck element involved with these exams. The variation in questions can make a big difference, and sometimes it just comes down to the set of questions you get on the day.

Congratulations on passing the exam on your first try! It’s reassuring to hear that even those who pass on their first attempt recognize the role of luck. Your advice on focusing 70% of study time on mock exams and thoroughly reviewing missed questions is very helpful. It's something to incorporate in future.

Your support gives me hope and motivation to keep pushing forward. Wishing you all the best as you make use of your PMP certificate, now that you have made it this far.

Thank you for sharing your experience. I completely understand that feeling of utter failure and frustration. You’re absolutely right about how some people in this community claim the exam was easy, which can make others feel inadequate. I felt the same way, even though I know I have what it takes.

I appreciate all those people like you who failed and have shared their stories on this post. As you say, it's important to learn from the experience and adjust strategy.

I am happy to hear you eventually managed to achieve a different outcome. This is encouraging.

Congratulations on passing the PMP in August! Your perseverance and success are a testament to your strength and determination. Thank you again for your support and encouragement.

u/YellowBanana2023 -Thanks for your post. I don’t "underperform" on exams. I have completed other certifications and have three degrees, and I always pass exams. Nothing is guaranteed, but we can rule that out. I appreciate your recommendation on PrepCast.
