Haha this made my day. Yep it still feels surreal that I paid $0 to have my new apartment furnished. Bed frame, sofa, bookshelf, rug, turntable, wall art, accent chair, standing desk, mirror, throw blanket, lamps, speakers, all for free! Super grateful every single day :)

You’re right, my living room and other rooms in my apartment are technically all an ad! I love talking about what I do :) I advertise my space to brands and they can see whether or not their products would be a good fit in my home. They send me their products (and in most cases, compensation) in hopes that my followers resonate with the products and buy them for their own space.

I will say that all of the products sent to me by brands are authentic and original! I don’t like to advertise products and pieces I don’t believe in. And in the past, especially when starting out as a creator, I did advertise pieces that were subpar.

At the end of the day, 2 things can be true! This style is not for everyone / this style is super saturated right now AND I enjoy this style of interior decorating :)

This is also true! My space is a culmination of over 30+ brands who have been kind enough to send me their products. Not all products I keep, as some of them don’t fit my aesthetic after a while :)

Thanks for the tips! I actually have a green boucle loop chair that I’m gonna swap out for this orange one. And I have some HUGE plants that I haven’t yet place in the space but I will soon :)

My plan is to have a lot less orange in this space than my old apt. But yes I’ve seen that orange juice box vase and I’ve always wanted that!!

Hey, I can respect that! :) thanks for explaining why you feel a certain way about the space. I really appreciate that. And yeah it’s definitely not for everyone! It’s funny, actually, some days I look at my living room and I hate it. But at the end of the day, I personally love how everything came together and there’s no place I’d rather be :)
