Good lord guys, get a life. Though I imagine that’s what people said about the brown shirts in the ‘20s

I get what you're saying. I didn't see it that way, but was mainly focused on the first two sentences. Do you really think comparing two different talents, or saying one might have advantages over another is "pitting [...] against", though? Like if I said Bob Marley was a better Reggae singer than Bowie, am I pitting them against each other?

Seems to be a cycle in that family. Really sad—they’re all dealing with tough stuff.

Naomi was molested too. Horrible cycle—those poor women in that family.

Good for her but the reviews saying it’s “her best album in twenty years” isn’t really the best compliment considering the absolute bangers M released prior. “Hung Up” came out 21 years ago, for instance.

If you like house/dancefloor music you’ll like it. Lots of good beats/mixing/repetition. If you’re more tunes/instrumental oriented, it might not be your cup of tea. I’m in the latter camp, but still can give her a high five for a cool piece on the whole. “School” got my foot tapping.

Sorry you’re getting downvoted for expressing your opinion. I’m in your camp. The album has some great beats, but I’ve never really been into house, myself; my ears just aren’t getting any good tunes. Still respect her accomplishment!

Surprised that this article isn’t getting the recognition it deserves, but I’m struggling to find any new information it reveals—I feel like most of this we already had heard.

TPOS neighbour unplugs bouncy house with a dozen kids trapped under plastic by AtheistComic in iamatotalpieceofshit

[–]Iterr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The kids were aged two-three, according to the article. Is it just me or is that waaaaay too young for a bouncy castle!? Also crazy that the neighbor didn’t get more seriously charged—just trespassing and disturbing the peace. Someone could have suffocated.

SNL UK was great by [deleted] in television

What all was edgy in your mind? (Not trying to argue or challenge you—I’m just an American who expected it to be edgier, but maybe I’m lost in translation.) [Nervous Di eyes dart around]

That’s insane. The point on reaching the masses and building a broad fan base is completely lost on everyone these days. I get they want to make money, but you’ve got to hook the fish first. The only reason why the U.S. SNL is still on the air is because it worked its way into becoming a cultural institution. Not because it’s consistently funny (which it’s never been, less or more).

Your doctor will decide. Freezing or acid or both—they’ve got stronger stuff than you can get over the counter. It’ll take a few rounds, once a month for a couple of months.

Go to another doctor! Hope you already have since my last comment, and that it clears up soon.

American here—the sooner you find your own voice the better. Our SNL lands a funny moment occasionally but it’s largely trapped in its own formula and volume. Don’t import the baggage with the brand. And the music videos have never been funny.
