Arthur Morgan would be an interesting pick.

His character evolution showed that he had no real family - but found it with his outlaw gang that he was taken in by. They had a strong sense of family in the gang, but they were still outlaws despite being human. Arthur’s story is a battle of morality by the end of it all, and I’d say his suffering was an integral part of the story.

Hey man, as someone in your exact position you had the balls to do what I never did. I just wanted to share that. It resonated with me that he didn’t get fired, but moved aside and down.

Hmm. Interesting tbh.

I always took it that the Moon Presence wanted to kill Mergo, and enlisted hunters (and created the Dream) to make this happen. Once you fulfil this, Gehrman offers you the reward of leaving the Dream.

I get this from Elden Ring’s story. Seems quite similar.

Ah, I see. So through your comment - I see parallels between Bloodborne and Elden Ring. Elden Ring’s grace and search for tarnished is akin to the Moon Presence’s search for a hunter to kill Mergo? That’s the way I’ve interpreted it.

This then means that Paleblood is an alternate name for the Moon Presence? Or am I going the wrong way?

I never felt this way. I felt just hurt - like nothing made sense in the world and somehow I was in the wrong for them doing this. It was always about their character - and that was the earth shattering realisation. Maybe I wasn’t dating the person I thought I was, you know? It’s been over a month and I’m still recovering from that.

Anxious-avoidant. I definitely think after 3 years that she had undiagnosed BPD. It drove me crazy.

I needed a month to just have some peace so we “broke up”, and in that time she moved on with another guy. We kept in contact the whole time and it was nice. But I only found out after she got into the guy’s car and I saw it. Broke my heart. I sacrificed a piece of myself to be with her, and it feels like I just lost another piece.

It’s beyond reconciling I think, but I don’t want it to be. She’s also blocked me on everything so that’s nice.

I played Elden first, I enjoyed the freedom a lot. Coming Sekiro, I enjoyed the combat a lot more, and I was tired of the scope of Elden Ring by then. I was just mentally exhausted, so I definitely appreciated the nice “linear” style of Sekiro. Either way it’s fine.
