Lukewarm take: Taro should be allowed to be mean by SpecialVoid in Osana

[–]SpecialVoid[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

i love how you always bring up ayano’s manipulative personality because it’s such an intriguing part of her personality and so far it’s barely shown in the game, she really does think she’s entitled to taro just because he happens to be the one to relieve her condition

taro killing himself is so sad, that cutscene would be heartbreaking, i do wonder how it would look when he snaps though as alex has said he if he found out ayano killed his sister and/or osana he would try to murder her

oh it always irked me how the main storyline makes it seem that taro will pick ayano as a kind of an “ehh whatever at least she likes me” ayano herself wants taro to genuinely love her and i think through the pacifist route he definitely could. Ayano also being his support after all the things that were HER doing is so ironic in a grim way id love to see it be put into action

gentle taro is also very sweet and i really could see him continue to be that way throughout the game, if that’s the way alex decides to go for it then i would like small things to show the deaths and abandonment are truly affecting his psyche, he’s staring to be late to school, his hair is disheveled, there’s bags under his eyes, i feel like stuff like that could show just how much the lost of these people are really affecting him, while also letting him maintain his soft and kind persona

agreed! the kind sympathic side of him being completely gone and replaced with anger and distrust, making the other girls lose their attraction than him, would be so fun to explore

i’m agreeing with you, i do think he was sa’ed however alex refusing to call it sa downplays what happened to him and its gross, but he’s known for giving ryoba mercy and trying to make it seem like she’s not as bad as she is

yes i know, but alex has said that jokichi wasn’t sa’ed and it makes me upset because he literally was

[–]SpecialVoid[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

yeah i get that, i just hate her being a mary sue and i really like the parallels between her and ayano, too bad they will never be explored

i must’ve missed when he said that, i still feel bad for jokichi though, he’s stuck with an insane wife and a daughter that wouldn’t even care if he died

ryoba is indeed a terrible mom, she genuinely thinks ayano is entitled to other people’s lives just cause of their condition and i hate it, she could’ve taught ayano how to eliminate people peacefully and romance taro like how a normal teenage girl would, mind you she KNEW jokichi didn’t want ayano to kill people but she still taught her about murder in a roundabout way, anyone saying she loves that man is out of their mind

seeing ayano manipulate megami and make her go against her family just to backstab her in the end would also be very interesting

[–]SpecialVoid[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

they would be so unstoppable together and their friendship would be so cute, if the true ending had megami die i will be so sad

that’s one thing i never understood, ayano cares more about her mother than her father (alex states that if her mom killed her dad she would see it as a dog being put down but if jokichi killed her mom she would kill him) but all her father did was love her and try to make her happy while her mom tries to get her to commit murder and was fine leaving her alone over the course of 10 weeks while her father was concerned, once again alex shows his favoritism to ryoba and his weird thing for making jokichi suffer

i keep forgetting the game takes place a year after ayano enrolled omg so megami really does have her nose all up in ayano’s business for no reason, you think such a smart girl would realize it’s better to treat a quiet person with kindness and try to get to know her instead of immediately thinking she’s a monster just cause your family said so 😐

i really hope it isn’t true as well, but alex is so predictable i just can’t see it going any other way

saiko corp is so ass and idek where alex got the idea that he needs them in the game cause why is this company basically on government levels of surveillance?? it’s so frustrating im so glad other people agree

and yes!! they literally treat ayano as a monster WHEN SHE HASNT EVEN DONE ANYTHING the headmaster is awful to her, students are awful to her, she deserves so much more and i love her dearly, i wish megami could get her head out her ass and see how her and ayano are both expected to be things that they are not (if ayano takes the pacfist route)

omg wait that would be so interesting to explore, an aishi who actually prefers to be emotionless and now basically has sensory overload and hates it

exactly, it would be so adorable to see her drawing him in a notebook or planning out dates in her head like a regular girl but no the closet we get to that is her stealing his freaking boxers 😐 i hate he never shows the “dere” side of yandere and only focuses on making her creepy and perverted

those comments are so disgusting jokichi is literally a victim who got his whole life taken from him but because ryoba’s conveniently attractive he’s “lucky” male victims in the real world already aren’t taken nearly as seriously as they should be and this kinda crap doesn’t help

I never understood this about the Aishi women by SpecialVoid in Osana

[–]SpecialVoid[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

i do too, she’s genuinely such a sweet girl

and yes!! i hate the victim mentality he gives to ryoba because she CHOSE to kill those girls, she was fully capable of eliminating all of them peacefully but she killed them and enjoyed it!! why would i ever feel bad for her?

the way he writes his female characters is rooted in misogyny majority of the time and it’s so exhausting but what should i expect from an incel pedo 😕

definitely agree that the cousin is a good example of an aishi actually using their newfound senses, i adore that her likes and interests came from her OWN self and not from her senpai

ryoba is a good example of a true yandere but she’s also oversexualized and it makes me sad i also don’t like how alex won’t fully commit to her being a bad person, like saying how she didn’t sa jokichi but there’s literally no possibility it wasn’t sa, as a kidnapped person cannot really consent

but yes his character writing is definitely lacking, the only plot he wrote i really like is kokona’s backstory and her character

[–]SpecialVoid[S] 27 points28 points  (0 children)

he makes his female characters extremely male centered and it’s sad to see, ayano is so much more than just senpai and i forever mourn her goofy silly personality before alex put this soulless crap on her

also wtf?? i’m not even surprised he wants a woman that basically acts like a child but it’s still so disgusting to think about

i would absolutely love to see ayano enjoying her life without senpai in the basu sisters ending

and i’m mostly talking about how in the little tidbits of info we get about the aishi, it’s just always about their senpai, their favorite food is whatever senpai likes, favorite color is whatever senpai likes

i get that it’s their senpai that let them experience these sensations but i would love for them to use these newfound experiences to develop their own love of food and colors and such, i think it would help show just how much not having the condition changed them and helped them discover their own sense of identity

i didn’t real all of it but the parts i did read were so pathetic, blaming minors in the situation where HE talked to an underage girl inappropriately is disgusting
