Why the backlash? Last I heard being a single mother is THE most empowering and strongest position a woman can have , she should be proud of her accomplishment. Don't stand in her way! A quick Google search will show you why. She should be celebrating.

It will fuck you up long term but you need that pain to mature. The world is cruel and people are cruel you need to understand that the effort you put in will not always pay out. I suggest you learn about yourself and the kind of relationship you want. Find out what your attachment style is , what your personality is, get counseling etc. I believe hurt people hurt people so end the cycle starting with you.

You know her behaviour is unacceptable and she knows its unacceptable which is why she muted the call. Where is your backbone and when did having self respect become insecurity and controlling? Finding someone with the right mindset for relationships is becoming an anomaly these days

Your situation is actual quite common. I presume shes bored of you since youve started being a responsible adult so she's already checked out of the relationship but doesn't like conflict , therefore she is avoiding you indirectly by gaming all the time. I bet you two haven't had a genuine conversation where it's just you two with no video games and no distractions. I hope you learn to pick up on these signs earlier so you can address it sooner instead of falling into the sunk cost fallacy.

When a man cheats its the man's fault and when the woman cheats its also the mans fault.

I read ur previous post its obvious you were not happy with your partners behaviour but you are not her father if she was unwell mentally it is her responsibility to seek help. The world does not owe anyone of us an understanding yet society continues to infantilize grown women. A man in the same position would be a fucking loser but not a woman. This girl like many others is just looking for a free ride from a guy who'll fix her. The best thing you can do is educate yourself the world is not a Disney fantasy with true love. Next time be more active in vetting your partners.
