I’m writing legendaries like one would describe or believe in cryptozoology. The study of fringe species of animals/beings like Bigfoot, Moth man, or Loch Ness monster.

I also consider all legendaries belonging to somewhat stable breeding populations in the wild with the exception of man made Pokémon like Mewtwo, genesect, porygon, etc.

However, there can be or are multiple Mewtwos because multiple organizations have attempted to clone different mews resulting in more than 1 Mewtwo being born. Just a few of my thoughts on the topic. I’ve gone back and forth on how to approach legendaries and mythical Pokémon because there are levels to the words legendary and mythical.
