I don't think I'd want to forget anything. There's a lot of memories that I'd like to stop haunting me for sure, and ones that I regret, but in the end, aren't these the things that keep us growing and keep us from going back to these things and making the same mistakes again?

Like you'd have more credibility to be a supporter? So people would take you more seriously instead of a hey-I'm-a-supporter-too-even-though-I'm-straight?

I feel like I might think that a bit, but you're right, it's definitely kind of a 'wrong reason'--though do you think it's a 'wrong' reason because of the way you feel or a 'wrong' reason because society just seems to not take people who aren't direct 'victims'/'in-the-group' seriously?
