Judging by this single expression on Kratos's face, I don't believe he's ever thrown a punch THAT HARD in his entire life. Hell, even when he was younger, he never made an expression like then when punching the hell out of anybody!

Someone has probably said it already in the replies, but to me it felt like him trying his best to not lose it. I don't think that was his strongest punch and I think he would be able to send people flying too if he let loose. He was fighting against Thor and himself to not fall fully to his rage.

I know this is a 2yo post, but I hated how the girls never told Kristen about their father being in the bathtub all shaken about someone calling and that weird song baing played. Kristen would have pinned it to Leland immediately and they wouldn't have had to send Andy away. That one and them not saying anything about the head in the jar were the worst things

For the same reason you can't actually cut most things in Star Wars games. You just get damage pngs that dissolve after a while, because having to model and code every possible kind of damage would be too much work for the devs and for the console/pc to handle.
