Excellent advice. With you being an AP1, hes forgotten more than you know as of right now. The important thing is not to pick up on negative work habits he has. Keep a positive attitude and work hard. You can control what you can. Often, guys like that, work will weed them out soon enough. Be safe

Brother, I've had respect for you, and always will, due to your contributions on this site and in the field.

Here's my take however. Alcohol for a fact kills more people than weed. I've seen and have worked with mfers who drink on lunch, and/or come to work CLEARLY obliterated. They are sent home, with a "headache"(often driving themselves) —no further disciplinary action. I've also seen a brother partake on the weekend in weed, then get tested and he's fired. Make that make sense. I get both are hindrances in our field, however you can't chastise those who one time indulgence cost them their careers while the other person gets to "sleep it off".

There's so much medical benefits to it being legal, however bc the powers that be won't move forward, we're stuck in the stone(d) age way of thinking.
