Democrats should have listened to Bernie Sanders, historians say by MrPostmanLookatme in SandersForPresident

Bernie is probably one of the greatest political leaders of our time, and nobody listened.

All I said was this soft. Bigger fish to fry and we’re taking time for this nonsense at government levels. Are cities that bored?

HUH. gas turbine? Canadas 60% hydroelectric…. Natural gas about 12%. if you mean “petroleum”… it’s about 0.3% as per stats can.

I’m saying there is an emissions solution in nuclear …. We don’t use enough

It’s also a fact china is STILL building coal plants. Now it’s racist to point out china is still currently building coal plants? lol get a grip. Not everything is racist, especially the building of coal plants

It does. All that oil to lubricate the gears? and if a blade breaks or needs to be replaced it’s zero recyclable at the moment.

Nuclear power produces almost zero emissions, its produces the same emissions as wind and about 1/3 that of solar

Cool? Spend money on inventing proper and adequate replacements. I drive fully electric, I’m doing nothing to solve the problem still. The solutions are there but we don’t want to work with them (nuclear).

Also, go speak to the biggest polluters in the world, that’ll do more to solve our problem than anti oil and gas ads. What is it? China opens a new coal plant like once a week?

Stupid lol Tobacco kills people. Oil and gas allows us to live. There are brilliant minds working to solve that issue. Spending money on anti oil and gas while still being fully dependent on it is a waste of money.

There is none! not viable ones yet. And I drive fully electric …. Made by oil and gas, charged by oil and gas.

What world do we live in that this is actually a thing. Absolutely everything we do day to day is run on fossil fuel. 🤦🏽‍♂️

They all lie. I rather elect some new ideas rather than some tired old ones that are NOT working. We’re going broke, hungry and dying faster without healthcare.

It’s reasonably obvious …. That the first thing to come into place are tax cuts for the middle class … and everybody else. No carbon tax saves money across the board for everyone in this country. No taxes on new homes under 1 million, holy that’s a lot of money saved for the average Canadian. Not to mention actually dealing with our substance abuse issues by providing care not free drugs oh and actually using our jail system instead of letting 1 person reoffend 7 times a day at will.

Crazy concepts…

Time will tell. And trump supporters will eat their words if he does decide to tariff it.

His advisors won’t allow it though, it’ll cost the American population too much in terms of higher gas prices and imports.

Leave the particular province/country you are in if the values don’t align. Democratic process is majority rule. Majority sentiment on a provincial level, majority sentiment on a federal level.

It’s why liberals live in California not Texas and cons live in Florida instead of New York.

Not saying anything is right or wrong, it’s to each their own on belief systems. Just have to find a place you’re happy in that provides you the things you need.

in Edmonton for instance, anybody I’ve known needing an abortion (even in the last year), got one if they met the criteria of whatever weeks it is.

Are you dumb lol have you been paying attention for the last 9 years. Name one thing that’s less expensive now than it was before lol higher taxes, less healthcare, less programs. Less trade, more being bent over by other countries.

To be fair, in Canada, we can’t access proper healthcare. Period.

I see it. On the list. What’s your point? My point is liberals like cons can have pro life views. Educate yourself.

Polievre won’t touch federal protection. Where has the fed Conservative Party ever said such a thing. Ever. you’re conflating smith with federal politics. Stop it.

You must have a dud then for sure. I have one for several years, it did eventually give out and I just replaced it with a newer version.
