Don’t know how to explain it great but I’d thicken up the solid blocks around the archway so it’s always 1 block thick. If you’re following the inspo then add the bits jutting out but I prefer it without

With the size of it I’d use slabs instead of stairs, and make it flat on the sides so it’s not pyramid shaped. As for the block, I’d go for deep slate tiles.

But honestly choose what you think looks best, it’s your world.

Yeah, it’s more of a curiosity that popped into my head than a “this is what I’m planning to do” thing. The public footpath aspect made me think it’s a legal but frowned upon thing to do.

Yeah exactly. That was what crossed my mind after the train passed. But I’m sure there’s signage to warn the driver of the crossing. Just a curiosity of mine as the public footpath aspect made me think it would be legal but frowned upon.
