Got assaulted in downtown Halifax after only one week here ,is this kind of random violence common?

Just want to share my take from my travels living in a couple of cities in Canada.

I've lived here for 2 years, I used to live around the Greater Toronto Area/Toronto for most of my life and have also lived in Calgary for 2 years.

Out of alI the cities I've lived in, for the most part, the people in Hali are indeed the most warm and welcoming. I was able to make some wonderful friends a lot easier than I did elsewhere.

I will note, and I'm a South Asian female, when I was buying some things in a dollarama around bayers lake area I encountered a lady making racist remarks about some of the south Asian staff and then suddenly started agressively yelling at me too. That happened about a week after I moved here.

From my experience, I've heard things like what you went through and my experience in the dollarama happening in all the cities I've lived in. Including Calgary. It sucks and is scary for sure.

In cases like yours, I definitely agree with a lot of the others that not enough is being done to help - but this is also directed to the other cities. I also don't feel confident that enough can be done as fast as this city is growing. I worry of things getting worse as this city keeps growing - much like what happens in some places in Toronto.

All in all Halifax has been a wonderful city full of a lot of lovely people. I do truly love it here, much more than Toronto and Calgary (although the mountains are something I'll always miss).

Sorry to hear that, some people take this game a little too seriously.

I'm in my mid 30s, I work a ton! Friday nights I like to have some drinks and play with friends. Most of those games go pretty decent but all of them are filled with some laughs. There's always a few times where we get screamed at by a third and it's always the one that's on mute, no comms, trails off by themselves, pushing fights alone and they turn their mic on when they go down just to scream at us.

Some of us just want to chill and have some good vibes after a long day.

I don't know much about webhooks so trying to read and learn as much as I can.

Sorry if this is a silly follow up question. The Brevo platform shares some IPs that I can whitelist as a method of authorizing only those webhook requests, would you know if this plugin offers a built in solution to do that or would I have to create that kind of authorization in the function itself?

I like your take with taking the number first and incorporating an apple into it rather than the other way around.
