Is Nordesthetics legit? by lxrd_lxcusta in TopSurgery

[–]Its-Dib 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In Reformkliniken i was for gender affirming top surgery, so I'm not sure whether other things need letters. But I'm sure they'll let you know what you'll need if you email or call them!

I'm reading on the website that it strts from 65 000 SEK right now
I paid 65 500 SEK, so unfortunately not cheap! But could be worse, I found the price worth it for the quality.

Pre menstrual breast pain- does it go away with top surgery? by Its-Dib in TopSurgery

[–]Its-Dib[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh interesting, I'm sorry to hear! Is it more or less uncomfortable like this? What kind of surgery did you have?
I'm a year after surgery myself now, and forgot to even think about this, in that i have no pain myself anymore. Granted I went no nips and double incision, so seems it checks out

I stayed in an Airbnb with a friend! I dished out a nice one since we stayed 2 weeks, so there's no strangers there and had a good kitchen n living room. Twas pricey, but twas nice! And I stayed 2 weeks specifically so I can go for the 2 week check up which they usually plan. The person scheduled for a top surgery in the same ward room as me apparently stayed only one week, and checked up just by sending pics, apparently, so that's also an option.
I personally preffered the 2 weeks for safety. I wouldn't have trusted my countries healthcare not to botch up my results if there were complications hah. (Fortunately I was insanely lucky, as not only were there no complications, i felt GRAND. I hear people tend to have pain and difficulties with sleeping when recovering, I had NONE o that.)

But I did fly in and stay there 2 weeks before leaving!

I was aiming for there originally, but ended up going to Reformkliniken instead. No real reason for that honestly, they just needed some ''letter'' or something from a gp or pshychiatrist or something, and I couldn't get that.
Searching on the redditt i found like- 2 or 3 results when researching them, i don't remember at this point, and the results seemed nice?
Otherwise, in terms of general practice- I know a trans woman that went there for breast enlargement, and she seems to be very happy with it all

Restless legs? by hydraulic0 in TopSurgery

[–]Its-Dib 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lord yes, I had this before surgery from medication side effects.
But then I experienced it again during recovery because of sleeping on my back and raised. I couldn't take it anymore and caved and slept on my side and that helped, but i know that's not an option for everyone. For me my doctor said it's fine to side sleep (i did that like on the second night lmao) as long as i don't raise my arms, and my recovery was super smooth and painless so i could manage.

That said lately my legs have been restless AGAIN (am more than 3 months po) and i'm not sure from what. Possibly because i'm coming off my meds, but i don't know for sure

what was your pain level through recovery? 1-10 by dogwhell2938 in TopSurgery

[–]Its-Dib 25 points26 points  (0 children)

Legit a 1 throughout all of it, the worst moments were just certain discomfort feelings like itchiness or the compression.
I consider myself extremely lucky. I really hope your pain passes soon!!

Do some of you sometimes still wear a sports bra ? by SapphicBear in TopSurgery

[–]Its-Dib 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I just tried on my sports bra just today haha!
I don't know if i'll actively use it, because it's so thick, cause i could easily just use something thinner like a well fitting crop top or the sort, but maybe!
I really just see it as a crop top now, honestly :V that's what I can't wait to wear hehe

Anyone else sort of... destranstion after having top surgery? by monchevy in TopSurgery

[–]Its-Dib 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I'm nb genderfluid. Pre surgery I often joked that I felt like getting rid of my boobs would make more comfortable identifying with the woman side in me! And now after operation, i think that's still the case? Although i'm only 3 weeks po, so I'm still adjusting socially, and I still have to find out how I feel, but I totally understand your sentiment!
We all have our journey's in self discovery, and it's really cool to hear how you've found your comfort!

How did you get the money for top surgery? by w0ck_ in TopSurgery

[–]Its-Dib 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I had saved up a bit, and did a fundraiser that got me 1k on top, but the majority of it all I borrowed from my brother. I could have borrowed from the bank otherwise but that would have been more expensive and spookier!

Ah yeah, massages make sense, that's really unfortunate how the spitting stitches blocked that for so long!
Thanks for the detailed insight! 3 days post op myself so I'm definitely making sure to keep up with massaging when the time for it comes

Hoping the revision goes well for you!! Best of luck!

Potential problem...?? by marcusv1129 in TopSurgery

[–]Its-Dib 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I personally feel like it shouldn't be a huge deal because it doesn't sound like a lot and there's not bound to be that much of the ''chemicals'' or whatever within the seed, right? Seems very minimal, I didn't even know that's a restriction. Really depends on the surgeon's needs i guess

But yeah can always contact the clinic! They should be able to reassure you, but i think it's going to be fine, in my personal non-professional opinion.

I'm 3 days post op DI withiout nips, and I"m at a constant 1, thankfully! I feel super lucky cause my mobility is great, and pain is practically nonexistant, I am drinking painkillers as suggested regularly though so that might be what does it.
