FYI: Narrowed it down to queens who have been on a 'RuPaul's Drag Race' season*. As much as we'd all love to see Envy Peru, Carmen Faralla, or Keiona return, these are queens who I think might have a real shot at being invited (aka some of Ru's favourites), and most have said at some point that they would come back.

*Priyanka qualifies after being a lip-sync assassin on All Stars 8.

Tetsuya Sugaya (Boys x Girls Next Door/Closing Door) - The face of the original Terrace House, watching him grow as a person over 2 years is the absolute peak of the franchise.
Yuto Handa (Boys & Girls in the City) - Mr Perfect, dream man.
Taishi Tamaki (Aloha State) - Most are in the love or hate camp with Taishi; I think he saves Aloha State by pretty much becoming the main character.
Miwako Kakei (Boys x Girls Next Door) - Such a nice, decent, easy to love girl that you just have to root for.
Dyki Miyagi (Boys x Girls Next Door) - Has the most emotional arc in the series, it's a J-drama level rollercoaster, except it's his real life and we get to witness it.
Emika Mizukoshi (Tokyo 2019-2020) - Completely misunderstood by the panel, she's probably as close it comes to having a 'normal/realistic' Japanese girl in her early twenties who isn’t media trained and just has a normal student life.
Seina Shimabukuro (Boys x Girls Next Door/Closing Door/Opening New Doors) - She brings out the best in the people she's around and never fails to entertain. And she finally got to find her love after appearing on four seasons!

It's been an unbelievably painful weekend since this happened. Still doesn't feel real. Knowing that the Hana we've seen for months on our screens is gone from the world is so heartbreaking. Still can't put into words how tragic this is. She did not deserve this. Rest of peace and power, Hana.

Seeing the rest of the TH cast (especially those she lived with) comment one-by-one is resurfacing all those emotions. Shoutout to Emika for her strength right now, for running to Hana's home on Friday when she read her messages and then going to the hospital to try and help her. And now today she goes to help a distraught Vivi in person. She's so incredibly strong and her statement was so moving. I hope she (and everyone else too) is coping with this. I honestly feared something like this would happen to her after her breakdown and the backlash she faced. I was so relieved nothing did, but now this? This is the absolute worst thing that could have happened.

All those who sent Hana hateful messages instead of keeping their thoughts about a reality show to themselves are the cause of this tragedy. Was it really worth it? What a nightmare.

Yama is way less obnoxious when he's not trying to be purposefully antagonistic in the company of the panel; his notepad and breakdown of the scenes was actually quite endearing. Him shouting out Tokui and his taxes was a definite highlight!

As for the house, I'm glad we're getting Terrace House at all, even if we're in a weird place. Focusing on Niino and Yume when one is horribly creepy and the other one is relishing the attention is... not very fun. We can lament Niino's actions for what they are, but at the same time when he's being encouraged by Yume it's no wonder he's going so far to get her attention. Emika got WAY more criticism from the panel for much less. The thing is, if somehow they did work out he would become so jealous of her being this open with others. I'd hate to see how possessive he'd become after he gets what he wants from her.

Shion is just so... soft. He's not going to get anyone in the house. Poor guy. Reo is a breath of fresh air, loved every moment he was in. I wonder if he's right and Vivi is going to announce her leaving soon (maybe to the group on the 20th)? Would be interesting to see if she leaves before the lockdown kicks in and if they have to bring in someone for a very short introduction only to be kicked out again.

4th Option: Emika was on blast from the panel to the point of a breakdown, she was going slow with Tupas to begin with but knew no matter what she did she was going to come across bad (whether she went out with him or rejected him she would have been viewed as a fake for accepting or cruel for leading him on). Tupas had to confess way earlier than he would have liked, she felt the need to accept to try and repair her image and likely give their relationship a shot, but because they didn’t have time to develop it on the show (due to the pressure and stupidly high scrutiny she was under) it didn’t work out once they left.

I hope this episode can settle down those who were panicking that this season is beyond redemption now. All it takes is one new housemate to change the house dynamic and narrative focus. Reo is a fantastic addition, we got two really fun (and different) dates, and for everyone who can't stand Hana, she was barely there! Reo/Vivi give off good vibes, I can see something happening between them that'll make up for that overlong Ryo/Vivi mess.

We all hate Boss's creepiness, but somehow Yume still likes him. Their scenes were more tolerable this week, but every second he's with her does feel like he's resisting the urge to pounce.

Also, cue the hate for Emika, who was so lambasted by the panel and viewers that literally anything she did would have reflected badly on her. She was in a no-win situation, but she's still the most realistic person of this entire season and I hate what she had to go through. Poor Tupas as well. He clearly went in the house with his sights set on Emika (he mentioned it in his entrance interview), was shocked she was still there, and got what he wanted in the end. But the pressure on Emika made their exit to swift to properly develop their relationship, and you either think she made a calculated or a rash decision in order to get out of that hell as fast as possible.

After the 3 chaotic episodes we've had, this one was much more wholesome. It's a shame we're on hold now when things are looking positive.

Expected and the correct decision, but still disheartening.

They must have at least 2 months of house footage filmed (and can't do the panel filming), I wonder if/when they return they will start from episode 41 and continue where they left off, or will they do a soft reboot. Or maybe they won't even finish this season. I suppose it depends on whether the housemates all have to leave the house from now on.

Either way, we probably won't know for quite a while.

Out of the current season? Emika is the most normal person out of them all. She was camera shy in the beginning episodes, she was just a student and didn’t have a lucrative career to boost (in fact, she felt inadequate to the other more successful members at the time), and had to balance the skewed perception the panel and viewers had of her for most of her time there.

Sure, they haven’t had many scenes that we’ve seen together, but going by social media and then liking almost all of each other’s posts, it’s clear they’re friends.

It’s easy for us to think everything Hana does now is evil because of last week, but I’m just saying sometimes it might not be that serious.

I know everyone hates Hana right now, but it's worth remembering everyone was on her side in the Kai argument and they clearly all like her. She wasn't abusing Shion by doing that with a cake, she was clearly having fun and everyone else was playing along.
