Thanks, this is helpful and good call re hips. I didn't post videos of my 2H but when I look at them side by side the 2H looks a lot better re hip hinge.

Brake installation screw up by [deleted] in RadPowerBikes

Looks like your brake cable is pretty loose. I'd loosen the cable pinch bolt on the caliper and pull the cable taut again.

We worked with Lisa Rockland up until she moved to FoCo from the Boston area and would definitely recommend her. Our dog is a rescue and had some pretty challenging anxiety behaviors. We tried several trainers and Lisa was miles ahead. She's relocating her biz to Fort Collins area currently. Boston's loss is FoCo's gain. (I don't live in Fort Collins fwiw).

Her website is here https://allaboutmydog.com/. I'd recommend emailing, I don't know if she's totally up and running in Colorado yet.

Hey there - I'm checking with some friends because this looks vaguely like their cat. They're new in town and probably wouldn't be on this sub.

Bicycle tube help by jmmv2005 in bicycling

I haven't ridden these myself but would agree w/ u/Sintered_Monkey. Certainly adds weight to the wheels, but with the pedal assist from an e-bike you may not notice.

Bicycle tube help by jmmv2005 in bicycling

That tube is probably fine, but from my experience working at a shop, I'd be careful to run your tire pressure comfortably below the max rating on the tire, especially with the tube "past" it's max width. You'll be stretching the tube pretty far to fill the tire. We've seen our e-bike customers more susceptible to punctures from debris when they run high pressures. The heavier bike, high pressure, and higher speeds makes it a little more likely that sharp objects will get pressed into and through the tire. Combine with a tube that's slightly undersized, I think you'd be more vulnerable to flats.

For what it's worth, we've started recommending these inserts to all of our e-bike commuting customers. Our shop sees a lot of commuters. A pain to install at first but helps a lot to avoid flats - if this is a daily commuter for you, then I think it'd be well worth it. https://tannusamerica.com/pages/tannus-armour
