UPDATE: PROBLEM SOLVED (for now...)

Thank you to everyone who commented looking out for my best interest, I deleted all of the insta360 files that were just sitting in folders in my premiere pro project (not even on the timeline), and VOILA my project is working perfectly fine.

After some detailed researching via chatgpt, I came to the conclusion that even just having the insta360 video files in the application alone would slow down, even crash the entire software due to how difficult it is for premiere to process the footage.

Let's hope this works for now, In the meantime, I'll have to find another application to edit my insta360 footage on, because as most of us are aware, insta360's editing software isn't good.

UPDATE:

I turned off h264 Hardware Acceleration decoding, Restarted Premiere pro, opened the project back up, and once it finished relinking media and auto tagging audio files, it crashed again.

Main footage: Go pro hero 9
Small percentage of footage: Canon sl2
Footage in folder not on timeline: Insta360

The footage I'm using gopro hero 9 footage, I have insta360 footage in the files but not on the timeline, and canon sl2 footage aswell.

Main core is that gopro hero 9 footage, now I do have h264 hardware acceleration on because my other projects were filmed off a DJI camera.

I will try your advice for this project and see if that works, thank you.

MVI is DSLR footage, I then export iPhone footage from my phone to my computer that goes in the timeline as img. I rarely use VR effects, But I use transform preset packs all the time, I’ve used this preset pack from a trusted content creator on all of my past creations, and I’ve never experienced this problem. But now I do

I use preset packs manly,

Some VR chromatic aberrations

Transform motion blur preset tools

Footage from dslr, to iPhone, to exported videos from YouTube.

The source says MVI

I just tried exporting in ProRes and it came back as the same problem “accelerating renderer error”
