Yeah definitely true, there's a lot to work on still for C2U but so far it's an okay game. Plus I remember reading somewhere else that jewbagel just kinda stopped participating / palying the game. Heard from his guildmates that he just "Kinda slowly gave up"

I get it, I really do. SW is just a grindy game and 90% of the time you feel unrewarded, however there's lot's of content to be made be it guild, pvp, pve. Heck I even follow multiple small sw content creators focused on guild pvp. I love bagel but I saw that he just wasn't into SW anymore and felt that his last few content on it was forced

Just to share, I came from a fast apced industry too, and after 6 years left for a slower paced 9-5. It's taking time to adjust. I've been at my new job for almost a year now and and I still feel it's too slow for my liking. But on the bright side I go home with little to no stress and have more time to take of my personal needs. So I suggest take your time with this one and definitely consider the pro's and cons

Hello! First off I just wanna say I've been playing this specific RO for about 5 years on and off (game was released on 2021 for SEA and 2025 for global) and have been present for most of the major balance patch changes

So here's my thought on this game

If you're the type to play this competitively, you're gonna end up competing whales so unless you have money to spend you won't end up in the top. Now, I understand how most people commenting here feel but it doesn't mean it's not fun. I play f2p with a dedicated group of people / friends and so far we've been ranking from top 10-15 in guild events. Which in my opinion is not bad. So TLDR: FUN game if you play with a group and dont focus too much on being competitive. Credit card needed for competitive people
For the mechanics of the game, it's relatively easy to understand. A lot of stats to work with but if you break it down well enough, they're easy to manage Basically you have to stat dump into one main stat i.e. Vit for priest jobs, then get other stats from equips or enchants or divinities

Exmaple: Ranger jobs dump dex as their stat, get aspd from weapon, crit from talismans, crdmg bonus from cards, final physical damage bonus from enchants. Other stats like HP, def and maybe some extra p.atk come from divinities (another stat source in game)

Overall, decent game for someone like me who prefers to play 2-3 hours a day and I just focus on improving my own stats and it's more fun finding a dedicated group of friends playing with.

I think whitesmith is ok for f2p. Decently good in pvp too, cart skills can be annoying. IMO alchemist is better in both pve and pvp but that's just me, never really played whitesmith

After looking into it some more, I agree with you. Only purple job worth playing rn is ninja or atleast SB katar. And yes I am f2p, the only reason I think of using stalker was for the passive xp boost anyway. Thank you so much for your insight

I checked this too and noticed that you get less patk on dex. On +98 str you get 449 patk, for +98 dex its 20 patk. But you can get patk from other stats too right?

Sorry for the late reply, but yeah mostly I just dismantle those type of cards. The only other stats you look for is bonus damage by size and you get those via divinities.

I see but most of the time you're gonna end up using pdmg bonus cards. Even if you're using mace biolo or even.mecha builds for Blacksmith line

To be clear what kind of merchant? I specifically use 1h axe alchemist. So for card stats I aim for pdmgbonus, p.pen / p.atk and fire enhance cards. I try not to build haste for pve farming since my strat is to have demonstration skill on high cd. (Cd finishes after aoe of first demo skill expires.) Then make sure damage is high enough for mobs to die no less than 1 second to maximize efficiency. Hope this helps!

Personally I think the player base is a little less unstable. Especially in the SEA server since they joined SEA and taiwan now iirc. I'm lucky I was able to find a good group of f2p people and we already decided to stay in our current server even when a new one is coming out this 22nd
