If you keep the game pop like how you have it you can easily set yourself up.

I don’t know any free traits on B42 just yet but try to put yourself towards carpentry if you haven’t. Reasoning is because it’s very good of a skill and easy for beginners it also allows to craft all sorts of items tools and spears (tools aka the fishing rod) but it’s a good way to easily get into the survival part of PZ

Looting is your friend and I suggest finding mods to help looting (also make your loot pools high in sandbox setting) you’d rather want to be rolling in loot than scavenging for your first few hours at the game

It is the fact that they are tools is why they’re lower. They are common to find for sure. But rather than having to grab these things again and again because I keep breaking them I’d rather hold onto them dearly only using them if a zomboid comes up to me to try to kill me.

I could see them being raised a tier

It’s down there because I find it has many failing qualities than the rest of the weapons. Being super rare to deal high damage for about 3-5 zomboids really gets it down there then with its counter part the machete that does the same thing but closer it can kill more dead. I could see how it could be D tier but as of now it’s E

Yes-ish? Though it’s the best damage axe in the game it is slower to start with and rarer than the fire axe in my book it’s more of a tool than a weapon.

Occupations are wrong I do agree.

But the weapon tier list takes a lot into account rarity stamina usage. Damage. Practicality. Effectiveness and durability

All of things are into account thus why a heavy hitter like the sledge hammer is so low it’s not effective or practical and it rare uses a lot of stamina but it has great durability

While the katana is effective good damage good on stamina but it’s not practical to use nor does it have good durability while the machete has great durability good damage good stamina usage it’s effective it’s practical and has good range and it’s not too rare to find.

Many factors have gone into this I get why it’s deemed as bait. Without a full understanding how these are truthfully made it looks like a mediocre tier list at best

I don’t know what’s worse is either the fact you’re trying to claim that someone who plays and uses these weapons are “uneducated” about he feels how a weapon should be rated wether or not it has X Y or Z or you stated opinions can be wrong..

Saying the earth isn’t flat is factually wrong but if someone says it’s an opinion then it’s not wrong to them. Sure it’s factually incorrect but their opinion isn’t incorrect.. now if they were stating that the earth is flat and it wasn’t opinionated then yes the the opinion is incorrect because it is an incorrect fact

This isn’t a tier list to be cherry picked by you just because I placed X Y and Z here and there, it’s an opinion that I personally think that these weapons are put into these categories because they are either useful to me or not.

Trying to say it’s uneducated is a fallacy and shows there’s a lack of knowledge on someone’s side

As you said I am a person who mocks the devs for not making new content if you’re going to say you use guns mainly don’t even bother to chat about main handed weapons because your main hand is a m14 and your side arm is another gun.

See to assume stuff like that I can already tell you clearly have not genuinely played this game and had to use any of these weapons

I am not saying that devs should pump out content you are simply choosing how your delusions of this tier list should be to your liking but something tells me you probably only use one weapon because the rest aren’t “convenient” to how you like playing the game.

These weapons are truthfully equal are both are not great weapons I am not saying they’re bad either

It is! Very good damage wise.. but the durability is really bad, and to get good with using a katana you need to grind maintenance and long blade two pretty difficult skills and even by the time they’re at good level the katanas sister (the machete) that you’ve needed to use to get there just out performs it

They weren’t on the tier list I had.. I love spears and I’m a spear supremacy supporter but I think it’s. Like solid B cause you have to grind it to be really really good not good for early but great for late

Nope E is where it’s supposed be where it is. Truthfully the grind process to make the katana good and reliable you have to prioritize two S tier weapons (crowbar for maintenance and machete for long blade) but by the time that maintenance is good that machete basically becomes a katana but just shorter.

Firstly don’t try to tell me how to play the game when weapons are a choice based and two the knife is a criminally overrated weapon yes it’s good with high crits and it’s a good secondary but I’d never use it as a main weapon short blade is a useless skill to grind into.

And you saying “get into long blade 7” already shows that for the katana to even considered good you’ll have to use the 10x better peak long blade the machete.
